I had a guy in the same color g35 wave at me a few weeks ago.. I hadnt seen my color anywhere around my area so i was to in shock to wave back lol

Ive never personally waived to any g35 owners. When I bought my 07 almost every03-06 g35 waived to me. Prob because I had one of the first 07's around??

when I owned a 70 land crusier, 69 vette, every motorcycle, and my dsm everyone in those communities waived and I waived back.

It feels too gay to waive to another g35 owner. There really isnt anything too special about our cars to waive about. Maybe if my car was decked out with 19's I might give props to another hooked up 07 with a nod

I say we take back the word 'gay'. It used to stand for being happy. It didn't used to stand for a man who wants to slobber on another man. And, while we're at it. Let's take back the rainbow!!!!I'm going to run out and get a rainbow sticker and..............put it on my neighbor's car, cause I think he's gay....never mind....they can have em

Yep, I've GOT to get me some more bolt-ons!

Now that I've beat the crap out of my cobra's ac compressor and it's working again! I think I need that spacer.

Oh, and I only wave when another cobra driver waves at me.I've never waved or been waved at in the G's. I wouldn't either, cause evidently if you do and you're in a G, your gay!

Maryland is gay noy very many G driver wave back. just yesterday i pulled up to a white 07 coupe and said wats up and he put his window up. i was like that F***er, anyway we both punch it from the line and i smoked him the he waved but it was pretty gay how he jus put his window up. mainly around here the young G drivers spend there time on the "rich" part of the county. dont matter they all mostly stuck up anyways...lol

Thats why I would never initiate a wave, especially around here in Mont. County.. most G drivers seem stuck up.

I don't know if I would agree. I have owned a pretty long list of cool cars and a very fast turbo bike and I feel like my 35 coupe is my favorite of all of them. It isn't really too easy to argue the point since it is a matter of taste. I think the BMW Z cars are chick cars as well as the Porche Boxter(good cars but chick cars just the same) but know guys that love them. Each to their own I guess.

The people that are stuck up in their G35's probably didn't have any problem spending the money on it. I had to plan to buy mine, nearly 40 g's on a car has been out of reach for me until recently so I truely appreciate my ride and would never judge anyone for driving something less because that is what they can afford. I don't know why people can be such pricks to one another. The true judge of ones character is to see how a person interacts with another person who they don't know and from whom they have nothing to gain.

for a week now i switched from waving to giving thumbs up and i get a lot more response. i think waving may be a little too much since like you guys said if its a chick youre waving to (and youre a guy) they might take it the wrong way. but no harm done by a thumbs up. i actually got into a couple conversations that were initiated by a thumbs up. the other day my roommate was riding with me and he noticed the and since he drives a mustang hes like theres no way mustang drivers do that. if they do theyre asking for a race. hahaha i thought that was funny since he was saying if another mustang were to merge into his lane there would be no way he would let him in.

I've gotten a few thumbs up....a few "you're number one"s too in my cobra.I will also let other cobra & mustangs merge in. I'll let ANYBODY merge in if they use their signal!!! I try to be a curtious driver. When somebody does something stupid, I just try to remember that stupid people sometimes get a license too. Or perhaps their momma dropped them on their head when they were a baby.

Yeah you should not do that with the 07 sedans unless you really like to read the rear licence plates.

Problem solved ----- How about instead of waving (some feel might be a little Gay) give the 'ol head nod accompanied by the two fingers "peace" sign? I had an '03 G35 before deploying and would do this to the few sedan/coupe owners I saw on the road - always got positive responses. In my town the car always got respectful gazes.

I generally used to throw the peace sign out the window, although that was when coupes weren't as common. They seem to be everywhere lately, so it quickly wore out.

My sister, who coincidentally traded in her 5-series for a G35x after driving my dealer rental around (while my car was in service), would wave at other '07 owners at first.

I've owned a lot of "niche" cars in the past.Always get a wave driving my VW westfalia (almost a requirement to wave in that); used to get waves from other 911 drivers, bikes, convertibles, etc.

But with my G I've waved a few times but don't think I've ever gotten one back. Maybe it's the fact that it's so common? I see tons of sedans all over the place. I have a coupe, so when I see one I USED to give a wave, but I don't think the other driver got it. Maybe a thumbs up would be smarter since they'd be less inclined to think "huh? I don't know that guy."

Lets be honest though, not a lot of people even know WHAT they are driving! Most just think of it as a luxury car. Period. They don't understand WHY you are waving at them and that they even belong to a group of people who not only own a luxury car, but also own a bad@ss car with few equals.

You know, now that I think of it, I get more thumbs ups, waves, and red light conversations from people driving OTHER makes asking "what is that?" or "nice G"! That's gotta make a person feel good.
