so there's the Kougaku 8% larger pulley that slows the water pump down to prevent inertial cavitation (understood)...and then there's the ARC 5% smaller one...that speeds it up for increased cooling...question that comes to mind is...why would ARC make a product that increased cavitation? In otherwards...I'm buying an aftermarket water pump pulley...as well as a new waterpump to go with my new koyo n-flow that should be here Thursday...what the hell would you guys do? I already have nismo low temp thermostat...so should I not worry about it? I have ALOT of money in my blacktop's internals...the water pump failed on me ...and I want no further overheating and blowing head gaskets. So I'm upgrading the cooling system as best possible.

it really depends how the car is driven, for traffic and low speed driving you want a faster spin to help cooling, but if you spend lots of time at high RPM at the track and stuff you want to avoid cavitation

See I use the car as a daily...but slide the piss out of it daily too...seriously...I usually practice almost everyday ...I have hookups on used tires. So I'm hoping going with the larger pulley won't matter with daily driving really.

it really isnt gonna affect you as much as you are worried about... but still keep an eye on your temp just in case

as long as your not running a stock 240 cooling system I think you will be fine.
