My opinion:

Do a complete or partialy debadge of the rear. It looks better symmetrical.

Swap out the amber corners for clear ones. And loose the TAMPA University plate frame or get one that compliments your car better.

I can't say much about the rims, because I hate mine and you have the same ones.

The car looks great though!!!

Do you mean to get rid of the G35 badge by "Partialy"??

I love the University of Tampa Plate frame. It looks good with the red and black just like the red and back of the car and tail lights....

What do you think would complement the car better?

The clear corners i always thought looked like but i saw them in person the other day and am thinking I am going to order a pair.

I really think Im going to get a pair of the Halos for my G... I think that will dress up the front!

I also want to get the Aero Bumper again. I had it and then a guy at walmart backed into it with a trailer hitch! The bumper was on back order for like 8 weeks... I didn't want to wait to get my car fixed... But wish i had now!

A debadge would look pretty good but i would leave the Infiniti logo. Not really a fan of those wheels but if it was a tad lower i think that they would look alot better.

Yes. Yerv's Sedan looks so much better without the G35 on it. It's weird that the symmetry affects the sedan more than the coupe.

What do you think would complement the car better?
I work at the University of California, Riverside. There's a really gorgeous chrome (metal) plate frame that has "UCR Alumni" or something like that etched into the frame. Sleek, stylish, would compliment your G very well.

This is coming from a guy who doesn't like chrome!

Quote »The clear corners i always thought looked like but i saw them in person the other day and am thinking I am going to order a pair.
I bought my car with them on and I'm SUPER glad they are clear. I think the G has very clean, sexy lines and weird color changes just stop your eyes.

DJ
Sorry. I haven't built anything CF or fiberglass for the Sedans yet.

I think i might take off the G35 logo. I think it will look nice too!

I thought about lowering the car... But at University of Tampa they have these big speed Bumps and getting into my town house is a B*tch with a low car. with the 18's it would rub unless you went really slow! with the 19's i have a little more clearance!

The halos are for both front High and Low Beam Lights.. I would also change the Fogs to Xenon HID's The Halos are like these

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...l1116

I just don't like the idea of baking the lights.. But i might buy a set of head lights and try it on them.. Like these

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...44250&

I also like these black corner lights

Say what? Please don't tell me that after all of the talk we've had on here about rims and tires that you think the 19s make your car higher.

Larger rim + shorter sidewall= Same overall diameter

The only difference is the amount of sidewall "give" which should be minimal since it's .5" with a tire that is known for having stiff sidewalls.

It does make it taller!

my 18's were 245 40 18 and the 19's are 245 40 19 and 225 40 19

So yea 1 inch taller on the rear and a little less than that on the front1

I think it looks great as is!!

Really like the rims too!!

As for the clear corners, sometimes I think nice, other times I think

They remind me of those euro-trash clear rears I see on the backs of riced-out mustangs and SUV's.....But, the clear corners aren't as bad.

Original equipment per Tirerack is a 235/45/18

Overall Diameter for 18" sedan=26.4

Overall Diameter for 19" Coupe Front= 26.1Overall Diameter for 19" Coupe Rear=26.9

So your the front of your car is .2" shorter and the rear is .25" higher?

Wow...Big difference!!! lol

Since your fronts are actually just slightly shorter than OE I'd say it's probably the lack of sidewall compression that's keeping you from bouncing.

Beautiful job!

Claying is an awesome treat for your car.I was a little nervous at first, but once you understand how the clay moves and works, it goes rather well. The end result is a new-car feel, super slick! It's quite freaky to see it pull out the "blackheads" and other crud from your car's paint.

I use the Mother's Clay system, works well so far.For a wax a use Collinite 845. That stuff is incredible. Goes on like a charm, doesn't dry in a white mess like most waxes, and can be applied over trim! Removal is incredibly easy too. I've never enjoyed the process of waxing my cars (even if the results were thoroughly enjoyed), but the Collinite has changed my tune. It's :almost: fun.

I love those rims, mine are the exact same. I hit mine with a coat of Poorboys Wheel Sealant/Wax, just waiting to see if it makes any difference when I go to clean the brake dust off them. The process was a real pain in the *** though, by hand, so I'm going to try a Mother's Powerball to apply and remove the next time.

Well when i got the car i had 245 45 18's... I had brand new tires on it! with 30k miles and the 19's make the car sit higher than the 18's with that tire size.

I was only compairing the hight to that size tire lol

I would like to lower it but I like the look and don't want to f*ck with it.

Looks super sleek. I agree with clear corners and the slight de-badging as well.

I am def trying to stay away from

the blue is a 25000k color and the white is a 7000k color. I think they are both Legal!

I think the blue will look really cool. I just can't find a picute of them on a G35 with the white to make my mind up!

7000k is pushing blue.

25000k would be purple or not visible.

Once you get past 10000k, you start pushing into the UV range. Who wants UV lights unless you're BLADE?!?

Did you see the pics... I didn't think they could get that bright and still be legal. I really like they way the blue would look but i think it would not look classy

plus at night it would just look like it was glowing blue.
