Sometimes its a Pain to get the engine to line. And you have to wiggle it, and move it and stuff. You're not too far from me, if you need any help let me know.

the SR into a 240 is very easy as swaps go, all the motor mounts and trans mounts line up, the driveshaft is good, the only difficult parts are getting the heater core and radiator hoses figured out and the wiring harness. http://www.heavythrottle.com has a great install runthrough and FAQ, http://www.nissanperformancemag.com also did a very good writeup on it. It depends though, there is lots of info for the S13 chassis but not so much for the S14.

if its the SOHC model then your going to need to work somthing out with the power steering, either make the SR pump work, or find a pump off a DOHC KA and use the SR pulley.

My SR was my first Nissan swap.

My first swap was a 1600cc VW motor into a 59 Beetle. I was a senior in high school when I did that.

My 2nd swap was a B20z2 Honda CRV motor into my old 99 Civic hatchback. That was a fun motor.

And 3rd was the SR. It was super easy, just time consuming. A few words of advice; Get ahold of an engine leveler ! It was a biotch trying to get the motor mounts to line up with the subframe without one. After that, it's just wiring, which I'm totally comfortable with.

I'm getting close to putting the SR in, and thought I should pick up one of these. $20 whoo hoo!

one thing that made the heater hose thing much easier was the heavy throttle heater hose kit. you have to do some triming but i found it easier than using the stock hose and trying to get them to reach the usdm heater sockets on the firewall. its under the cooling system section on their sidebar. oh and make sure you get them pointing in the right direction before you bolt the motor in, theres very little space to mess with them once the motor is in.

another thing is that i found it easier to drop the entire drive shaft than to wrestle the yoke bolts loose. thats just my experience other people would disagree though.
