For those of you who are contemplating the WD Oil return idea, don't do it yet. I may have ruined my oil seal. I'm smoking really bad now, I narrowed it down to the turbo oil system, since the smoke stops when I crimp the oil supply line. I may just need a restrictor after all, or I may have blown the seal.

More info to come...

The turbo is toast, the seals are completly ruined and the shaft play is extremely ugly. Mt turbine and compressor blades have contacted the housings. Not enough to require new ones, but enough to damage them.

The oil pump apparently pulled to much oil out of the turbo and it had basically no lube for 1.5 weeks of me beating on the car basically non-stop.

So it looks like gravity is the best method so far. I'll keep plugging away at alterior idea's though. Now I'm waiting on a rebuild kit to arrive. For the record, they are only 100 bucks through Saab Performance. But the downtime sucks alot.

Sorry to hear that, at least it didnt end up costing you too much. But if you dont break things along the way you will never learn so its cool. I havent met one person that has experiance in high performance cars and hasnt blown some motors, turbos, cars along the way. Although I must say the gravity feed is a proven method so lets stick with that.

PS. check out my post it will make you feel better.
