Hi guys I'm a new member to nico club and I have been reading up on the forums threads regarding wheel offset. I have a 2012 2.5 coupe and I believe the current wheels specs are 17x7.5 +45 offset (I am assuming this is stock since I saw somewhere online those were the specs). I want to put on some niche wheels that are 19x8.5. The only issue is the Gruyere former calculator from carid says I should be running these wheels with an offset of +35 and when I plug it into an online calculator to determine fitment it says they won't fit. Using this calculator, I determined the most optimal offset to use is +42 but that would bring the rims (.7) inches closer to my brake components which I'm not sure I have space for in the front. Anybody have any experience with a similar wheel size? Any help is appreciated, I just can't seem to figure out what offset to run that will make my wheels flush. Thank you!

I have rims with 18X8.5 38mm offset. They fits perfect. I would assume 35 shouldnt be a problem for fitment. And they does poke out a bit. They will look awesome if you dropped the car a bit!
Tire are 245/45/18. They are beefy, I would consider switch tires to thinner profile once I got coilover .
