I just received an e-mail from J.R. over at Stillen stating that the R&D guys are looking into a mesh grille for the front fascia but its a couple months away... Kyle/Josh can you verify this?

What incentives need to offered to get this ball rolling? My radiator is tired of eating stones.

We must be getting close because it seems Stillen is tight lipped about any new developments.

If they go with the Mesh, which I believe has been confirmed now that that's what Stillen is doing, I hope we can put the Nissan Badge back on if we wish to.

Is Stillen actually going to make the one we most vote on?

I really like the first one and think it would be a wise decision for Stillen to make it

I really like Stillens lip kit but i don't want to pay $1000 for shipping/painting AND eliminate fog lights that i basically paid $300 for.

If they made the grill id be on it in a second. (Id also order a few other things depending on the cash flow)

The altima coupe and sedan have two completely different grills. The sedan uses a solid surround while the coupe has a two part grill. On the coupe the surround is molded into the bumper from the sides to the top. The only seperate piece is the bottom lip which internally has some strange angles. It is going to be pretty difficult to make a grill insert that will allow for a clean installation with flawless looks when it's completed.

The sedan is a lot easier as it is all one piece and "should" be a simple replacement of the entire insert/surround.

We know that there is a huge interest for this so we have not given up on the project but it will not be easy to make.

i hate that you can only vote once. I think you should restart this post so we can all vote again with the new choices. I originally voted mesh but now i would have to say nissan sport.

It would be a waste of time since it doesnt seem that anyone can just bridge the dang gap on the mustache anyway.

How about something for the sedans? I saw one on ebay that looks like the s5 grill for the 3rd gens.

I've lost faith on any grill coming out. I mean it's all hype then nothing...I am tempted to just paint the mustache to match the body and use some perferated (sp?) grill mesh like on the Sedan fascia and be done with it.

I was interested in the Stillen fascia that is currently offered on their website, but I don't want to change the look of the car.I'm probably gonna go for the Stillin lip and rockers.Great photoshops earlier, by the way!

That looks awesome. This is what I had in mind for a fascia when I initially bought my car. Love the black mesh behind so the rad isn't so exposed. Also, Instead of the "Stillen" logo, I wanted to put in a "Nissan". Not the burger style, but just plain lettering as the Stillen is.

Great photoshop dude.

It's been more than 3 months for this thread and not one post from a Stillen rep... I really hope that someone makes something (Mesh grill). I really like the mesh on the new Camry SE has (Only thing I like about it).

On a side note, someone should make this a Stuck post

Id make it a sticky if it wasnt just speculation... stillen knows we want a grill.. i think everyone does...

Soon its gonna be something a member winds up churning out... the grill can be dremeled out, and the frame reused...

CORE SWAP FTW.. someones got some time on their hands... how about a Stillen Fascia owner donating their grill piece to someone interested in making an attempt... Gry strm is my first bet on getting it done...
