It's a Mendeola 5 Speed Sequential Transmission. I will be using 935 Axles and CV's ( Massaged to get the 22" of wheel travel ) It's a pretty expensive Trans...

Clark Steppler at Jim Wolf Technology has Billets that he is putting his own custom grind on. They make a standard grind for the motor for the drag race crowd ( S-2 grind ) but these are getting a much more aggressive grind.

Well, most of the Sheetmetal work is done and I have since ordered the Extrudabody Individual Throttle Body system for the Motor ! I have custom plenum plates being made and will build a custom plenum with a 90mm Air Flow Meter. Here are some photos of the Sheetmetal ( some of it still has the protective plastic film on it ) Ther is a GPS System fitted up and the Gauges will be installed next... The Dash id pulled out a bit on the left side while the steering was being worked on and fits up snug to the cage when all is completed. I also have a spot for the ipod in the center console behind the shifter that will be integrated with the Communications System and FM two way radio system.

Here are some more update Photos... Suspension is hung on the car and more interior fabrication is being completed. (35" BF Goodrich Baja T/A's on Beadlock BTR WHeels are mounted as well.) I just got the Extrudabody Injection in and will start fabricating the Plenum next week. Cams are next with the Q-45 Modified Computer and Headers next.

PS: The Car is a little exaggerated in the photo's due to a 15mm Lens ! It is pretty wide though - about 90" Wide outside to outside of Tires...

Should be a couple months for 100% completion if all goes as planned. Still have a number of things to do ! I will be sure to post Video when it's done. Thanks for all of the compliments but a lot of credit is due to Ed Zimmerman at Pride Sand Designs in San Diego a good friend and awesome fabricator ! Clark Steppler ( another great friend ) at Jim Wolf Technology will be due a lot of credit when the Motor build is complete and Kevin Thornton at http://www.extrudabody.com has been very helpful with the Injection System setup as well ! I have been fortunate to have so many people help out with this project that are true Nissan Fans as well !

All of the Aluminum Work is done and I am busy designing the Fuel System, Plumbing Brakes, Wiring, ITB's, Exhaust, Air Cleaner System, etc... I will completely assemble the car, test it, tear it back down and Powder Coat, Paint, etc... Then re-assemble it. Hopefully all is complete by November. Will keep you posted.

Already designed and water jetted out a 180 tooth crank trigger that bolts to the Flywheel and I am in the process of designing the Cam Trigger that will bolt to the rear of one of the cams with a mag sensor...

I will put Paddles on it occasionally and take it to Pismo, Gordons Well, etc but it is being built primarily for the hard pack Desert. I will take it to Superstition, Plaster City, ( East of San Diego ) If the out of control crime in Baja settles down I will take it down there as well.
