I love the fighter-jet look Scoobie went for. It works especially well in matte black.

just FYI, vinyl is a bioch when working in the cold. When you heat it up to soften it, it quickly goes back to its normal state. Ive done a couple of smoked tail lights and they snapped/ripped while i was stretching it

God that looks horrible. No wonder it was egged. :gapteeth:

Not bad if this is what he paid!!! Looks good!!! Does anybody know where to buy the vinyl from? How much it is and how much we need? I'm really looking to wrap my a/c matte black.

Ps: Are most of the cars that are like matte or flat colors vinyl wrapped or actually painted on? I always thought they were painted on, sorry if this is a dumb question... Lol

Where'd you find the $365 quote? That's actually not too bad, I would pay that.

Depends on the owner's wants. The painting method will be a permanent, but higher quality job. Vinyl wrapping is technically supposed to be a temporary job and will prevent damage to the paint that it's wrapped onto. The high-end cars (Ferrari, M5, etc..) that you see with a matte finish are typically vinyled, not painted.

Thanks!! Yeah I was unsure.... Might get my vinyl for Xmas!! Lol

Hey I was just wondering how your vinyl project went. Also I wanted to know what kind of rims you have, where did you get them, and how much did you pay. And lastly just wanted to know how smoked tail lights look on an red A/C. Couldn't PM you or anything so I just looked at your last post. Trying to do some stuff to my A/C...
