Yes, so long as you have everything hooked up to it... you will HAVE to tie the harness in with the stock S chassis harness.. otherwise it wont fire up the fuel pump, give the ECU power, etc etc...

Well, you can provide power to the ECU, and you can hook up fuel with any fuel pump. It doesn't have to be tied into the harness, it just has to be on. Sure the computer sends a signal to turn on the fuel pump relay, but for testing purposes, the fuel pump can have constant power.
