^ That's more like it! :

I agree, it was a little invading, but hey, that's business sometimes.

Good luck with your project.

Hey mate all good, i totally see where your coming from. It was a bit a pushy to come into your thread, i apologize. Sorry if it seemed like i was trying to snake business away from you. Ill start my own thread next time.

Cheers

I'm thinking this is never going to happen..

Does anybody else have any ideas? I just want an oil block for a relocation.

The stock oil filter block could be cut down and -10 an fitting welded to it. I think that's what I'm going to do to mine.

I think i'm going to do that. I've got an extra block sitting at home so if something gets fubar i could just swap back to a stock block. Thanks for the idea, dont know why i didnt think of this before.

i actually spoke to a guy at the dealership today about building some more of these blocks. I need to drop the block by their shop tomorrow on my lunch break so they can take all of the proper measurements and try to reproduce them! i may even take a different aproach and try for a side exit! as for my current prototype i dont have anywhere to make the provisions for added npt ports. crazy trance are the additional npt ports a necessity for yours or would my current design work for you? lmk sorry for slacking on this!

You should make a few to suit VH41s too.

did anything come of this?

I've taken my oil block off and I'll either get some new plates laser cut up and just have -12's welded on or weld them on to my stock block. Just thought I should double check nothing had been made up yet

whats causing you the drama? getting clearance for the 12mm bolts to clear the engine mounts or fitting the -12 fittings?

the original that i have will work only with the mazworx mounts, or similiar design with a small bolt head height and still have to shave a bit off of the bolt head or the points of the -12 hose end! so i'm going to tweak the design to a 90 deg turn out from the engine and have the option for -10 or -12 male fitting. I'm currently in dallas again for nissan training and wont be back in town till friday so i'll try to update by then!

next update; last machine shop = fail! so as of monday i have purchased 2 machines that are identical to the one that produced my original and will have them within the month. i have to come out and just apologize upfront with everyone about the amount of time this ordeal is has taken but i promise this will become a reality very soon. i have a trip planned on the 9th-11th of april to fly to connecticut and inspect both machines under power and from there they are to be loaded on a truck and sent to me! from there it's all down hill. i already have the shop, the 3 phase electrical for the machines is getting installed this week, and all of the licensing for the business is done, llc, tax id #, etc. thanks in advance for everyone's patience and as for other custom automotive machine work in the future we will be available for contact very soon!
