ok guys looks like ive gotta go back to the drawing board the bolts for the mount bracket interfere with the -12 fitting, super hatch, as for the plate mounting bolts they are counter sunk under the -12 fitting so that isn't an issue! using an allen bolt! i think im gonna have to scrap this one totally if i can't get a -12 fitting to clear the mount bracket bolt, might have to go with a side exit with an fittings, but ill keep everyone posted! thanks for the input. steve lloyd, as for the sensor ports i will have them on a final product. tmorgan4 the back o-rings are metric so kinda tough to find but might have to go oem for those! just gotta get all of the bugs worked out! my -12 fittings are in route from and should be here in a day or so!

Don't scrap it, just mount it first, then put the fittings in, then you have no bolt clearance issues........

newbissan-tech that's looking great! Nice work! Looking forward to seeing how it goes with those clearance issues solved

Superhatch, just out of interest, for how long at a time are you holding your engine near max revs? Call me paranoid... but if you're just drag racing your car then it's not much more than around 10-15 seconds right?

I was curious about the effect of using -10 fittings say, at a trackday, where the engine is being placed under high load for 10-15 minute stints... and whether there may be any difference due to this extended duration.

ok guys i got home and there was a box from summit on the porch, and what do ya know full of -12 fittings, so i test fitted the plate with the fitting on there and it clears the bolt on the flats of the hose end but the points of the hex hit, if i could grind the front secton of the hose end fittings or machine them down abit just on the point of the hex they will work just fine! it's going to be a trick to get it all installed i'll have to do some fenagling to get it to fit but i think it will work with the -12 fittings, just a bit more engineering on some small stuff and placing a sensor port and we're in business! man it's a tight fit! (that's what she said)

ok guys here's a few pics with the fittings installed i can't install it onto the motor yet because my brother has to machine the bolt heads down to fit into the recessed area of the oil block, but as soon as i get the bolts done i'll update everyone! ive got enough bolts and o-rings for the -12 a/n fittings to make 10 blocks! kind of having some technical difficulties getting the blocks made right now but should be moving forward pretty soon!

Awesome work!

It sounded like you were machining all the pieces yourself but if you're in need of a VERY good shop I can put you in touch with a guy that just machined a bunch of parts for me. They are amazingly CHEAP too. Not associated with them but just a very happy customer. Let me know if I can help!

my brother does all of the machine work and his boss kinda got upset about it for some reason! but he's the foreman of a decent sized shop! the hiccup is that we are currently looking to buy a 5 axis milling center! that's the hiccup we don't want a conflict of interest and my brother has a big shop at his place with all of the electrical needs, just currently looking for a few machines and then going to start with the production! but i've got everyone's names written down and were going to get them made one way or another!

Put me down for one as well. I would truely prefer the -12 over the -10 so I hope you go with that. What do you think the final price will be at this point? Thanks.

Did you ever think about talking to Mazworx about your design and see if they would produce them..............

Just thought id let everyone know thats interested in the oil filter relocation blocks that i have designed up my own block as some people were in need of one before january next year. I might not look like it by my post count but im on here everyday in the shadows haha.

The block will have previsions for oil temp and pressure senders and will feature 10an or 12an fittings depending on what your after. They will be priced pretty reasonably as well and im hoping to have my first few made up within 3 weeks so i can show you.

If your interested please email me at [email protected] we are australian. But i doubt postage will be an issue because of the size of the item.

Cheers James KerruishProtune Racing (website will be up soon with some custom VH gear that we will be running on our VH s13)

Suffer from bi-polar mate? Who are you? Isn't it easier to just let a race team make the items? Sounds like you're in it for the money rather than helping the others. Little f*cking racist there if you ask me too, wouldn't want you to be dealing with my money, period.

I've spoken with nismov about his design and it will be in production shortly. Probably for the same price if not cheaper not to mention it has support for oil pres/temp sensors.

For the guys who are interested in these by January, I highly suggest you speak to nismov as these parts are around the corner!

cut the aussies throat, pffft. What a tool.

Hey mate, no need to start a war. I even said in my original post, that this item was for people who were in need of the block before january next next year. I dont see why you are getting upset when im just trying to help people out that are in a bind and need it before you can even start production on your own.

Anyway ill stay out of this thread i dont want it getting ugly

what ever, i am not about the money that's why i make my own posts and i assure my product will be a quality one! it's something ive put alot of time and effort into and it's kinda rude to jump on my thread and try to sell your own product! just my .02! sorry for getting pist but you've gotta see where i'm coming from! anywho yes i might be a lil bi polar at times, sorry i'm not racist and i have nothing against aussies, never even met someone from down under! so for previous statements i apologize. just annoeyed the s*** out of me! again sorry for all of the rude comments!

p.s. mine will have all of the provisions as well!
