Had to do that, but yeah I'll find you the link to SBC mounts.
that right the older 4.3s that came in the typhoon used sbc design, while the newer Vortec 4.3s were based of the LS correct?

I know someone about to do this swap, it might be you but I don'y know that SN.*Nope your name is matt. I just bought a car off a guy who is about to do this swap into a gazelle.

Not 100% but I am saying no.... The 4.3 was always a 350cu engine minus 2cyl. If it was LS based it would come out to a 4.2L engine

5665CC / 8= 708.125 cc per cyl x 6 = 4248.75CC converted to liters 4.24875 Less than 4.25 so it would be called a 4.2

Plus GM made the small block Gen 2 engine to 2002 even though gen 3 started in 1997. There was an overlap for certain applications and the 4.3 was a gen 2 motor minus 2 cylinders.

Also S10 263 to 350 conversion motor mounts fit all years as well. So I would assume it used the same block design to end of protection.
