Yes. All of the above. Looks like it might be a little longer than I thought before the car gets over here, so whenever I talk to him, I guess I'll just have him source the motor and start on it while we wait for my baby to show up.

hey im new to this forum but i started to post my project on allnissans.com.I have a 95 240sx that i just finished gutting and im currently preping for a vg30dett out of a 93 300zx tt with manual transmission. I just took out the engine and im fabbing some inner fenders also fabing a new dash and maybe moving the firewall back. However if anyone has done this already i would appreciate so advice of problems i might run into.

why you messing with the dash? Just got to make some custom mounts... Got to switch oil pans to a j30... Relocate your oil filter to make it easier. Nothing really to different than nay other engine swap... just it's a wide motor..

well the only thing thats staying on there is the body other than that everything else is getting transplanted from the 300zx and i would rather have the right gauge cluster with all the butons and s h i t so i dont have to go crazzy trying to rewire things. by the way have u done ur swap already?

Doing a vh45de swap in my vert. I still got my shell. If I sell my Tahoe then I'll do this. Been to busy helping other 240 owners. Friends 240 burnt to the ground last monday. Had $400 of my parts now ashes...Kind waiting on the new kit to come out. Don't have time to make brackets. So was waiting on Dale to have the kit.

Just to do an update I just took finished doing all the cutting and welding for the vg30dett, im almost done with the body work, i still have to sand alot of spots that had rust on them. Those stud guns are just awsome for getting rid of dents. I also measured out a roll cage and im going to try to have that welded asap. I'll try posting some pics when i finsh this and when im ready to drop the engine and transmission in.

I am waiting for that kit, too man. Cool I can't wait to see the swap and the overall cost would be nice.
