i hate spoortmaxes w/ a passion, sorry. as long as its not a maroon very it should look decent aside from the super sunken battleship sindrome from front wheel drive offsets...

As far as quality goes those rims are crap. But hey they don’t look too bad here's a pic of them on my friend’s s13 but he did need spacers to get them to sit so flush.

I think those would look very nice on a vert. Photoshop wouldn't hurt though.

Also, first post of the new year in the vert forum!

Just put your thumb over the roof of the hatch on the picture above.

Heres a rough photoshop of it. It look pretty good but things like offset and stuff will most likely be different, especially after what everyone else said about these wheels.

I think this was the set that he got but his wheels are 18's not 17's

I wouldn't go with the 17x7s atlest stagger them, but the 17x7 are so skinny. Also on the 006 the chrome/anodized section is really easy to dent.

If you happen to go through with this, I would suggest removing the weather stripping or replacing it with black ones.

It's not the wheel's fault if it gets attacked by a shark!

Can't complain about my Sportmax 002s. But for the 006 I would want a better offset and wider.

17x7 is TOO SMALL for a 240sx, 8's at a bare minimum if you're going to shell out cash for some new wheels.

I have never seen a wheel do that! That is crazy but I guess you get what you pay for. My suggestion is to be on the lookout for some used good name brand wheels like Works or Watanabe or SSR or Advan, etc...and get a good offset to try to avoid using spacers.

FYI I have a set of S13 wheels/tires for sale, but it's for pickup only (Texas) unless you're willing to pay extra for shipping.

i wouldnt go for anything less than 8.5 in front and 9 in rear. and at least a 35 offset. personally i would spend the same amount u would on sportmaxx plus a couple hundred and get some used works, ssr, volks, or something

What size wheels and tires and also what size spacers did he use? Info on that would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Post is 7 months old.

Doubt you will get an answer.

But a guess would be 20-25mm spacer to bring a +40 out that much.
