I absolutely hated my vert seats, so I just got a set of s13 seats and threw them in. (Well, my bf lended a hand, as you can see in the pic!)

They are so much more comfortable and no modifications needed! They're probably the least expensive seats you'll find, too!

IMO, they look like racing seats, too.

I'm gonna need me some new seats myself. They're clean but they get irritating after driving for a while. Somebody on this site had a red vert with a nice interior...I think it was carbon fiber...looked really good. I did see another one on the net...it was an ugly yellow vert but the interior was leather and I must say...he did do a good job on it.

my vert is at the upholstery shop right now. I have worked with them to really turn this interior around. leather, heated seats, carpet, all new upholstery, reshaping the s13 seats with more pronounced side bolsters, etc... I'll make a post when the job is finally done.

Would love to see pics when you get it done attwater.

link...here's a pretty informative thread about interior upgrades. zerothread?id=156315

In a nutshell... I would strongly recommend upgrading to S14 seats, or at least having the stock seats redone. Nissan did a very poor job with our interiors.

I see a lot of small carbon fiber pieces on the internet.... shift rings, stereo surrounds, center consoles, gauge bezels, etc... I once saw and entire dash in CF.. very pricey! Keep your eye on ebay for some little CF touches to help freshen things up.

S14 seats are way to go. R32 seats are too expensive and S15 seats in good shape are over $500. I have S14 seats and they are awsome. There's no way I can go back to S13 seats.

Saw whole carbon dash somewhere and it was around $1200. Looked gorgeous though. You don't want to put those carbon fiber dress up kit on eBay. They look tacky. Redoing seats and door & quarter panels should be enough.

Those seats are S13 seats? From what year? I thought that vert seats were S13 seats. Please clarify.

I LOVE your seats. I need some new onesm and when I sat in S14 seats they didn't really do it for me.

Thanks!

they're s13 non-SE seats.

Verts are SE's, so they have the seats w/ the headrests. I just like the seats w/o the headrests so much better.

Maybe that's it.. I 'm not sure. All I know is that they came out of an S13 coupe. I thought it was a chuki DOHC, but I can't recall if it was or not.

Kate, As far as I know, those are older S13 seats. Anyway, have you removed the top spring? If not, do that. It'll be bit more comfortable. Just unzip and look for top spring and disconnect it. 240sx.org has an article about it.

OK, I think I got the seats down, Im prolly going to go s14 seats...

What about Fabric for the Back Seats? What would work out the best because to be honest I am sick of leather...

How about Carpet and Mats? What are some good options for this?

Thanks in advance for the suggestions, Im kinda a vert noob.

If you want an interesting fabric, use Alcantara. The material isn't cheap, but it isn't leather and it is said to be one of the best automotive upholstery fabrics on the market.
