I, much like you I am sure, am sick of the cold already.. its time for summer. I have owned my vert a month now and have been able to drop the top twice.. maybe it wasn't such a great time to buy a vert.

We are hitting 70 tomorrow. Vert may make it out. Although I'm off tomorrow and may not leave the house.

To me I like every part of NC, the coast is my least favorite, especially avoid the military towns. Mtns are my favorite, but hard to find computer jobs around there.

See, I like Washington, but Im going on 14 inches of snow right now. Stuck inside. Somewhere down south would be AWESOME to go right about now.

I love snow, and would actually prefer it, but couldn't be stuck in too much. I can leave my house in be in the NC mtns in 1.5 hours, including the highest altitude ski resort east of the MS river.

Dude.. I dropped my top yesterday with a hi of 25. which is warm compared to the last few days. coolwhip is right... i am definitely considering moving to FL. I am so sick of cold weather. And it doesn't help that our roads here in CO suck so its hard to keep your ride lookin clean..

Lets just say I won't be dropping my top, let alone drive the car, for quite some time. NH weather sucks. Moving south does sound like a great idea.

I LOVE the snow. I HATE the salt. I've started noticing that as I'm getting older, I'm not liking the cold temperatures.

I'm gathering supplies and preparing to install a homemade waste-oil furnace in the lab soon. Why, I'm not sure - especially with considering moving. I'm in a bit of a rough spot with work right now and if I end up moving, I might as well go somewhere nicer.

My wife and I honeymooned at the Outer Banks and it was awesome. NC was a beautiful state. Much further south than that and it gets too hot in the summer for me. I don't like sweating when I'm sitting doing nothing.

I live in southern la and I am trying desperatly to move out of this god forsaken state. I wish i could move back to phoenix, az. I loved it there and if i can ever convince my wife to move i would gather all my crap, strap it to the back of the vert, and haul A** for the desert, without ever looking back.

We have air conditioning in the south now. You only sweat if you're working outside and only in August. Otherwise the weather is wonderful. Like biggie said, NC rocks. In Raleigh it's 3 hours to the mountains, 2 hours to the beach, good economy. Com-on down. Just don't tell us how you used to do things up north.

I wish I had my vert with me last weekend when I was in Norfolk. I want to move down there or somewhere in Northern NC.

I only like cold weather when it's snowing, so it's actually worth being cold.

You southerners have trouble keeping up with conversation though... Apparently we speak too fast. I don't know how you guys watch TV, they all talk like us (northwesters) and you don't seem to have much trouble...

Anyways, I need room mates Open roads out here. Twisty treats for the drifters, and no SMOG and testing.

not really 240 vert specific, but it is convertible related so....

i have had a convertible for the past 3 years (not always a 240 vert, the 240 is just my favorite). Winter always seems like it takes forever even though it's usually over by Mid-Feb. here.

This, however, only gets brought out on special occasions:

I have been wanting to take that out lately, it just never sees below 70 degrees, or rain.

came from the factory like that too.nice cars.I have wheels just like the ones on it now, except all chrome and a bit wider with whitewalls that are usually on it during the summer.

that is my grandma's old car that she used to drive before she passed away. now we really don't know what to do with it, but we've already got it so it's definitely not going anywhere.

Hey Gang,Went topless today.. hit the low 80's today. Before all you snowbirds head this way, just wait until the summer when it's 100+. Personally I'm with Dexter, as I've got older I have grown to dislike the cold weather all together. I can put up with the heat now and enjoy the heat more each year. It's good to see everyone on here again. I've not done a damn thing to my car since September except drive it. I added a new vehicle to the family, but unfortunately it's not a Nissan. It is however a limited edition vehicle, but not as rare as the Vert (close 1 of 12,900). I'm hoping to turn it into a hauler for the Vert to go to a few more shows though. It is front wheel drive and only gets 9-11 mpg. That's the downside. Upside is that it sleeps 6, has Satellite TV and Radio, and is big enough to tow the Vert around (hopefully I can put together an enclosed trailer for her). I'll post pics if anyone is interested.

Good to see everyone is alive and kickin on the forum. I'm hoping to chat up some this winter - when it gets cold again.

Good to see everyone is still alive and kickin in this forum. Hope to do some mods after the holidays. Keep y'all posted.
