Funny how you can afford a G35 but bought a Versa because of gas prices? LAWL doesn't make sense, guess you aren't as "ballin" as you make it seem!! BWAHHHAHHAHAHA!!!
I drive 35k a year... take into consideration Gas, Maint, & Depreciation on the G35 with all of those miles and the Versa pays for itself...

it's not about being "Ballin" it's about NOT being Stupid.

BWAHAHAHAHAHAAHHA

I do have one.. yes it has a 250whp SR20DET now but it used to be a SOHC KA..

The versa and 240sx are about the same weight. So the power to weight ratio makes it a direct comparison.

a 150HP Versa is still going to run a 16s 1/4th mile.

S13 240Sx (89-93 non Vert) weigh 26XX - 28xx LBS depending on options.

S14s 240sx are portly at 28xx lbs depending on options.

Versas weigh in the 2700 lb range depending on options.

Modding the versa is stupid. Except maybe wheels, Tint & a HID conversion but if you mess with the engine (intakes etc.. ) you're no better then a honda owner..

120 HP will never be impressive. heck if you get it up to 150 hp your still only as fast as a stock 240sx.. **wow** such speed.
Wow, people used to say the exact same thing about " an anemic 4 banger in a silly looking hatchback", and they were talking about the 240sx...

I understand that you have two really fast cars, and the Versa you own is for mileage. But you also have to remember, some of us want a daily driver that gets good mileage, and has a little more pep than stock.

It's not about making the Versa a 1/4 mile drag car, autocrosser, or drifter, it's about personalizing your own vehicle. That's what modifications are all about. I know that you can undersand that.

It's their choice what people wanna do to their cars but personally I think it's stupid to put money into an entry level 120 HP car for things that have little to no benefit. I'll leave mine alone. I like my stock suspension. It's comfortable and I don't drive in such a way that handling needs to be improved by lowering it. The exhaust is dead quiet and that's the way I like it. The stock body doesn't scream "ROB ME/RICER" so that's staying. I have another car for fast. It's my Dodge Neon. It's an econocar too but they are super cheap to get and it's cheap to fix up the engine to be reliable and fast. My stock SOHC 2.0 3-speed Neon with 190,000 miles outran My gf/s Versa with only 10,000 miles. And that's the crappiest of Neon configurations. A DOHC 5-speed manual stock can eat stock V6 Mustangs. And the Neon will be my super sleeper. It's red but with a black passenger door from being t-boned, a big dent in the driver side quarterpanel, and rides on 14" steelies. It still has plenty of juice left though. Nothing will be done to it cosmetically.
The neon is your car "for fast"?. Unless you have an SRT-4 you won't be going much faster than you will in the Versa.
