Crazi -

use the search feature to see if you can find the pics threads we've had. One of the earliers members to get the sport package posted pics of front and rear. There is VERY little difference in the front end between the two packages.

and welcome to the latest batch of members!

Hello I bought a Nissan Versa 1.8 SL Magnetic Grey CVT with a spoiler. I had a water infiltration problem but now the dealer fixeds it and the car is working like a charm.

Just curious, where was your water pooling up? We had another member recently have a problem, and if yours is in the same place, you might be able to shed some light on the problem.

Downsized from our 04 Honda CRV EX AWD to Versa S for even better MPG since it's a 60 miles daily solo commute in heavy NYC rush hour traffic for me.

07 Versa S Hatchback, Silver - 4A with Pwr & ABS Pkge, 5 Pc. Floor Mats & Front/Rear Splash Guards PLUS LoJack EWS w. lifetime warranty - installed while waiting for docs, $16,932 OTD ($15,837 without LoJack) - declined Extended Warranty (asking price drop from $2000 for 6/100K mi to $1500) and Alarm System ($695)

By waving NMAC's SignatureInteractive preapproval, local dealer actually beat the no haggle price quoted by carsdirect.com - $500 deposit on 6/19/07, located car on 6/20/07 and delivered w. keys in hand & we drove home by late afternoon on 6/22/07 (total down of $3,000 - $500 & $2,500 in bank check) Rest of it financed by Nissan at 4.9% for 60 months @ $262 monthly (could've done it at 0.7% for 36 months based on credit scores).

Got a great deal on insurance from GEICO & will drop lower w. LoJack - plus less money paid to big oil companies for some real savings here.

Only B.S. on the Final Bill of Sale was $45 for dealer fee and $180 for License (2 Year NYS Registration should be $80) - $12.50 for NYS Tire Fee, $10 for NYS Inspection. NYC Sales Tax @ 8.375% translated into $1,289 (ouch).

Now it's been dressed up a bit - window tints 35/front & 20 in rear/side, K&N Air Filter, Door Edge Guard, & Hella fog lights. Actually, I felt like driving a downsized CRV with its high seating position - Loving it more each week as I put more miles on the engine with our 300+ miles weekly commute - it's been trouble free thus far, 6 weeks later & odometer at the 2,500 mark.

Car: Nissan Versa S Hatchback

Post

Just bought my Versa two days ago. S model hatchback (black) with Auto, ABS, and Power Package for $14,200. Dealer neglected to kick in the floor mats, so I'll probably be back up to the dealership tomorrow with (empty lol) threats to return the car if they don't cough them up.

I looked at every other car in the segment, and I had it down between the Mazda 3 (Coupe), Honda Fit and Nissan Versa. To make a long story short, the Mazda 3 is a joke (no power for under 16 -_-) and the Honda Fit is impossible to find in my area (was quoted about a 3 month wait by every dealer in town =/). Although I liked the styling of the fit better, Honda seems completely unwilling (as Mazda was) to come off of their price at all (Every rube in town is paying sticker for the Fit. It's a travesty). Although, after a test drive of both cars (fit and Versa), it was obvious that the Versa is much more spacious and substantial than the Fit, for a much lower price.

Time to slap on some better wheels, cold air intake and possibly a new exhaust. I'm also thinking about tinting the windows to match the exterior color, and possibly painting the (slightly) lighter hued (Body molding?) on the side of the car. Hopefully this won't put my costs into Mazda 3 territory XD

Last night I picked up a new versa (traded in a 2003 maixma se)its a 1.8 sl hatchback in magnetic grey loaded (was on dealer lot as such)it hasCVTKeyless operationSiriusConvenience packageAudio packakgeSunfroofSport packageABS packageand I put onall weather mats, cargo carpet, 4 mud guardsCar is going into auto electronics shop tomorrow fortinting2way alarm/remote startamp

Finance car was on lot for 19,200 haggled down to 18,400 they gave me 12,000 for old car, 0.6 finance for three years on the rest, Think my monthly payment plus insurance is 295 (my maxima insurance was 200 I think, HAH)I was betwen mazda 3, fit, matrix and versa. HAve owned many nissans over the years, good engines. like the local dealership. Tested all of them, matrix had a little more power, but could not stand the placement of the shifter (out of dash instead of on the floor) anhd it was more expensive and a heck of a lot more of them on the road. So happy with Versa, I want to figure out how many miles i am getting alread, lol.

Hi everyone. We just got a new Versa on Friday and this is my first post here. This seems like a great place to trade information and learn a few things. We trade my wife's '05 Scion xB for the Versa. The xB (looks like a box) was a great car. We had no real complaints except for it's total lack of power. 108 hp simply wasn't enough for the weight of the car with an auto trans. So far we absolutely LOVE the new Versa! We got a white SL hatchback with tan interior, CVT, convenience package, splash guards, and mats. We paid $16,300. My wife is thrilled with her new baby.

2007 blue onyx 6-speed manual trans. Picked it up August '06.Paid $15,600 out the door with a 5 yr 100,000 m warranty! Wanted the charcoal but settled for blu.Charcoal interior. Very happy with the colors. tinted on the rears. Love Love Love my new baby. Sad that I didn't get the intelligent key though. Trying to inquire on getting it installed now. I've never been happier with another car in all my life!!! replaced the recalled connector today and got some dust blown out of my brakes.I did have a warped dash cover piece over the passenger side airbag, replaced as well by the dealer. I already have 9800 miles on her. I think she's a keeper. Considering coloring the grill to match the car, the original looks a little cheap but okay for now.

Good to see this forum is very active, I'm sure I'll end up with some questions eventually.

Just picked this up yesterday. Driving 100 miles a day to work and back, so this will help.

07 Versa SL 6 speed

Fully loaded except ABS and sunroof.

So far I like it (even for my first FWD car), a little surprised that the 122hp/127tq can move the car pretty well for getting on highway, although haven't pushed it over 3,500 rpms yet as it just now has 200 miles on it (put 160 on it yesterday). And it is VERY roomy, looks small, but is great. I have plenty of leg/head room and backseat looks big and getting the hatch is like a mini suv.

I bought a new Versa SL CVT HB w/Convenience pkg Saturday. It's white w/charcoal interior. I paid $16,123. So far I LOVE it. Still trying to get my seat where I want it and to set up my phone book, but love the hands free phone. Can't wait to see gas mileage after a couple of tanks.

Which dealer did you get yours from?

We like having an active forum. It keeps us on our toes. Watch out for CodeRed, though... and if you need beer, Kimber's got the kegs.

Beer would be excellent.

I am noticing that mine may have been a little cheaper, guess its the region. Although I dealt with them for 5-6 hours.

Yesturday I went to get a Civic and drove away with the S Sedan. 6 Speed. In two days, I am satisfied overall, but still scratching my head about the over all feel for the Versa. Probably my biggest complaint other than what I think was an after thought of a front end, is first gear. In first it drives more like a truck than most cars. And for the friggin life of me, I am riding the clutch alittle too much. but proabably because driving a 6 speed in Las Vegas traffic does suck.

So in 2 days I give the Versa 4 out of 5.

New Blue Versa owner here in Surprise AZ. Picked it up Satuday 6/30. I drive 150 miles a day (to Mesa) so I'm hoping for good mileage. Had a 05 Sentra with 64K on the ODO but it was starting to have issues; AC and transmission, so it was time to trade.
