Hmm.. now all you need is an in-dash Nav system, and you'll be really close to a Japanese TIIDA.

Ah... we just simply call it VVT here.. variable valve timing. All MR series engines have it, so all Versas and all 2.0L Sentras.

I just bought a new Versa S Hatchback after 13 years with a Sentra Classic. The Versa is equipped with a 4 speed automatic, air conditioning and power locks and windows (Value Option Pkg & Automatic Trans Pkg). The total price of $18,273 includes $1,150.00 Freight & PD.I had set out to buy a new Sentra, but after test driving both the Sentra and the Versa I was much more impressed by the Versa. The driving position felt better and the car handled in a manner that made me feel more in control. Hard to explain, but the whole car felt more "personal". I was very impressed by the roominess of the cab, the quiet engine, the solid feel and the lovely design and finish of the dash, seats and control units. The Sentra left me so unimpressed that if not for the Versa I probably would have looked elsewhere for a car.The car was puchased on a 4 yr lease and I took an extra year of warranty coverage. But I'm wondering now how wise that was since the extra year cost me over $800.00 !!!!Alberta is hellishingly hard on automobiles, so here we go. Lets see how this car does.

$16755 for a cobalt blue SL HB with convenience package, aluminum kick plate, splash guards and CVT. Price includes sales tax and registration. Except for the fact that the oddometer reads slow, the car is flawless after 2166 miles. I have to multiply by 1.028 to get the actual miles traveled. Purchased new on 4/18/07.>>>>dl56zza

I hope you didn't pay extra for the paint sealant and undercoating....

But welcome, you have what I think is officially the most loaded Versa here yet.

I am actually darn glad I got the mud flaps, what a difference they make! As for the kick guards, they just set it off!

Hey it don't matter, because like EV said, you probably have the most loaded V on the forums, and I think I have one of less than 5 black Vs on the forum, there are only 3 that I can think of, but I am the one that posts the most! haha

I got the same car you got without the dealer adds and from what I know I don't think you can get the splash guards with the sport package. Something to do with the extended side sills on both sides.

Hello! I just got my 1.8S Versa in Sapphire Blue, 6Spd Manual with the Value Option Package.

I love the way it drives/looks, etc; although I must say I was disappointed when I first had to feel it up. It was much more than my old MR2. Hopefully it gets better as time goes on, otherwise I guess I'll just have to drive less aggressively.

That aside though, I'm extremely happy with my purchase, and look forward to years ahead with the Versa!

Just picked up a Sapphire Blue SL Hatch with CVT for my lady this Friday night, $17.5k out the door (including taxes+fees.) I was surprised how much this little machine offered for the price: TPMS, Aux input jack, 6 CD/6 speaker audio MP3/WMA, steering wheel mounted controls, rear spoiler, and Bluetooth. Great little car and so easy to park.

We debaged the rear yesterday. Just going to tint the rear windows and maybe get her fog lights. She won't allow further "modding" [for now.]

Hi!

I just purchased a brand new Sapphire Blue Nissan Versa SL with the Manual 6-speed transmission and the ABS package. Everything after Warranty, dealer fees, tax and trade-in, came out to just over $18K USD.

My wife and I fell in love with the car since the first time we saw it... which of course, was Hiro Nakamura in Heroes! (yeah, we're geeks! )

I traded in my 2003 Dodge SRT-4 which I will miss, but it was time to get a more sensible car (the turbo was terrible on gas).

So far, I have no regrets and absolutely love driving this little car. We're both very happy with it.

Hatchback, SL, CVT, Sapphire Blue, Convenience pkg, Audio pkg, Sunroof pkg, kick plates, splash guards (I think that's it.)

The sticker was $18,430. We paid $17,600 before taxes and the rest of the raping & pillaging. Don't hate me, but we did pay extra for the scotch guarding (we have a 4y/o and a 6m/o, so we thought it was in the car's best interest).

2007 Versa SLWhite exteriorBeige exteriorSL Convenience packageSL Audio PackageI think there's quite a bit more that I'm not thinking of off the top of my head.

Total with tax, transfers, etc. came to 20G. I went all out...this was my first new car as well as my first foreign car (I've owned 3 Dodge Intrepids and a Chrysler Concorde, which is basically the same car with some nicer features). Living in mid-MI I'm sure to catch some grief from some people, but none of the "Big 3" had anything even close to comparable.

I had really wanted the silver, but couldn't bear the thought of getting into that black interior on a hot day. Actually we had an S priced out with a few options added on, and come to find out they had a SL on the lot for not too much more a month and a TON more on it, so we paid the extra money for the better car.

I'm loving the CVT, the Intelligent Key, and the Bluetooth. This is seriously the coolest car I've ever owned.

Glad I found this forum...as this is my first Nissan and my first new car, I can use all the help and tips I can find.
