I'm just angry I didn't think of it first.

Lol ...
No last time there was four of us, and we thought maybe at least there would be three this time. But we still got some great shots out of the meet ...

I've been part of a bigger meet in a Tim Horton's parking lot heading home on the 401.

I don't understand why people are making fun of the situation. It's not our fault that only two of us could make it. At least it's a start for Ontario Versa owners. We've tried to find others interested in attending meets and no one cares.

Every single time I see pictures of your versa, its always look shiny and make the paint on my versa looks cheap. Mind telling me what kind of wax you're using? and how often do you wash/ wax your car?

Thank you gekko668. I appreciate the kind words.

I spend ALOT of time detailing my car. I only use Meguiar's products. Two weeks ago I washed, clayed and did a full wax which took about 3 hours. Yesterday I washed her, and did a QUIK WAX (spray). I generally do a full wax every spring and then use QUIK spray on wax when it's time for pics or meets. :D In between washes, I will use the QUIK detailing spray to do a quick clean up of her and remove any bird droppings.

The key to washing is to use a two bucket method; as you don't want to cause any further swirling. Also, I had some small scratches around my wheel fender and used Meguiar's rubbing compound on those areas, and most of the scratches were removed.

I love detailing the Versa ... tomorrow I'm detailing a BMW (weather permitting). I will take before & after shots.

Ok I detailed the BMW today ...

It took me about four hours. Wash, clay, wax, and full interior cleaning as well. Then he drove it to the park behind his house for some pictures.

Next will be the Jeep, then the Mazda.

Lol. Well I'm practicing the detailing on family members cars first. This was my brother's BMW. He bought me a beautiful HK necklace so in exchange for it, his BMW got a full detail.

However, in the upcoming weeks I'll detail his wife's Jeep & his daily driver (Mazda). Those will be done in exchange for cash! haha!

Oh it is for money then, I thought you liked it so much you were doing it for fun. Still a woman that does that is marrying material.

Lol! Well the Jeep will be the first one I detail for money :D I have to at least pay for my cleaning supplies, lol ... normally I will clean any vehicle on the driveway if I'm cleaning mine ... I hate seeing a dirty car on our driveway.

But I do find it to be fun. I wouldn't be doing this if I didn't find it relaxing and fun.

Lol. Well when you have a winter with temperatures past -20C you LOVE when the heat comes. Yesterday it was 15C with sun/clouds so it was a perfect day for detailing. Right now its 24C, sunny and very warm. I just used the QUIK detail spray on my Versa ... she was a bit dusty.

That's a bit of a drive for you. My younger brother is moving to Ottawa at the beginning of August. I should tell him to look out for your Versa !!! He drives a red SE-R.

It had been a over a year that I've washed and cleaned my car. Probably this Monday, i'll give my car a full wash, claying and waxing. I was thinking of also washing the engine and components using meguiars cleaning solution. Any tips on how to properly cleaning the engine?

There was a time when you'd be lucky to see another Versa here . . . I think there were about 3 of us . . . then all of a sudden they caught on and you always see them. Not much for mods . . . and mostly hatches :tisk:

Ya I see Versa's all the time now too. Two neighbours on my street have Versa hatch's as well ... :)

Well, if you see his SE-R in bright red in Ottawa, you know it's him. His plate frames say "PLAZA" on them from our dealership.

I'm the V with the Habs tag hanging from the rear view mirror . . . I'm hoping there will be reason to keep it hanging there for a coupla more weeks, though it looks almost doubtful right now.
