Good job on the Liberty!
You need to do my mega-mile purple/blue 01 sentra so i can sell it for mega bux :woot:
Pick up my 08V fri or sat.
Sorry bout that big Hammer owner's meet eh?
I wish mine were red, black or that mazda yellow.
But it's grey, and i will probably black out the grille, rather than extra chromey bits.
I think chrome belongs in the 60s haha :poke:

check intros for more.

What size snow tires do you use?

I think me and wife had take out pasta from Chicago Style Pizza [yum!] at that same escarpment lookout.
Near Henderson?

08V

Are you from Hamilton? If so you should come out to our next meet. There is a car show next week that my Versa is entered into.

hahahaha. I have no idea. You would not believe the stuff that was in it. It was packed full of stuff from when they moved. When my brother opened the door he said "wow it looks like a real car now" haha.

I love chrome. I have more chrome accessories that I have at home just waiting to be installed. It will be installed by the car show.

And yes Chicago style pizza is good. It's on upper Sherman near where the pics were taken.

Thank you!!!
Where are you from/live currently?

My brother just picked that car up two summers ago (i think) ... it had come off a one owner 3 year lease, and I think it had under 30K on it ... It's a beautiful car! Very powerful.

Today I detailed my brother's Mazda Protege.

Here are the pics:

Before Pictures:

Rear (It was painted on the left side of the hatch, where the "Protege" symbol used to be. The rust had formed under the symbol. It was a mess.)

Image

Fresh paint over the left rear wheel.

Image

Also painted above the right rear wheel (that was the original colour yellow "Very bright!")

Image

Close up of the new paint:

Image

Front Bumper has faded to a light yellow. :(

Image

Rust on the window:

Image

Dirty wheel:

Image

In the garage, the wax is on:

Image

Image

Nice fresh interior :D :

Image

Image

AFTER: Look at the reflection now :D :D

Image

All he needs is painted calipers and the car will look decent again :D

Image

Image

Image

Now that is clean :D

Image

Image

AND here's Chuckie! Poor guy has a bad sunburn. He will be my next victim ...

LOL!

Actually most Mazda's here rust in the same places. A few of his friends have Mazda 3's that are only a year or two old, and they are all bubbling up around the rear wheel wells and around the badging. Clearly Mazda needs to address the issue if a lot of people are experiencing the same problem.

Right now, it's just his summer car while the Jeep is parked. As long as it still runs and is clean he is not too concerned. It used to be really nice when he bought it brand new; but it's slowly deteriorated. He has almost 190K on it. It's a cute car, but it's so low to the ground.

At least now it looks decent :D AND at least the rust on the body is cleared up. It looks much better without the rust.

Funny that you say that is low to the ground. You are too use to the Versa at stock height.

Yep :) That's why I like my Versa, I don't feel like I'm crawling in/out of it. I HATED that with my old car. The Versa is nice to get in/out of. I'm never changing it's ride height. I like it as is ...

I just washed my car, the SE-R and my dad's Sunfire. He left for Cali yesterday so the car will be sitting on the driveway and it was gross. Now it's all clean and shiny.

I'm just use to low cars, only time I want to sit high is in a SUV/Truck.

I'm not really a fan of low cars, especially not as a daily driver.

I prefer small cars, so since this one is almost like a mini SUV it suits me perfectly.

the standard for "clean" has been set to high . . . I can't even reach the bottom of the bar! [but at least I tried].

the rotten thing about my clean car is that I don't even get to drive it clean -- mrs. frankoV has taken to the thing to TO for the weekend and the first thing I'll need to do when it returns is clean up all of the coffee spills.

ya those coin holders great for collectable coffee residue
My sentra had removable washable holder insert.
Not so much for the perfect interior, but to prevent "growth" :chuckle:

Lol. You wouldn't believe the messy state my Versa is in. Taking a trip in the car turns it into a zoo. My interior has coffee spills in the cupholders, dog drool all over the windows, blankets on the seats (for the dogs) and the rear seats are folded down. It makes me stir crazy to see it that way. I work until 3 today so I will give the interior a good cleaning when I get home. Tomorrow I'll detail the exterior for our meet in Brampton.

FrankV: you should have gone with the Mrs. To T.O. You could have attended our meet tomorrow.
