i was browsing earlier and came across this, one of the key things i feel my car is missing, it says it only takes the the front rear cup holder, so that wouldn't be a big loss to me as i dont have many passengers the majority of the time.

looks pretty good, anyone ever have experience with the site or similar products?

Wow... nice find. I was going crazy without a center arm rest. I plan on buying it. If anyone already has and has some info on how it fits and looks in the car please post. Thanks.

We've had one member that bought this. If I remember correctly, he complained of cheap materials, paint chipping, and rust specs of rust all over the hinge. I'd spend my money on a factory arm rest. I think they run $140

i got this for my versa a couple weeks ago it works out good easy to install and actually aint too much different to the oem. the local nissan stealership told me that i would have to replace the whole center piece if i wanted to get the armrest and it came out more than 200. this aftermarket one does the job and aint bad at all.

i'm planning on buying onei think i really need it...it feels horrible without one there

it wasn't a huge concern to me when i purchased the car though(i didn't even notice!! )

SL has the sunroof....fancy buttons..arm rest...but I figured with the LONG winter I'm having..sunroof basically = nothing or short period of fun during summer times...and the fancy buttons..I don't really need them anyway.....but the arm rest...something I will need eh!

The seller on eBay is selling like $105US(shipping to Canada)...and if the factory one costs like $200...I don't see a reason why not buying from eBay eh? It can't be THAT bad?!!

I just ordered this one here on eBay for our newly acquired 2008 Versa S HB in Red Alert for only $61 shipped: http://tinyurl.com/3df5f2

I will report back once the armrest arrives.

I received and installed my armrest today. The leather on mine is a nice match to the interior trim. It is not glossy, more flat or satin as the rest of the inside of the Versa. Overall a good item.

Seriously? S's don't come with armrests? I guess I just decided that I'll be getting an SL rather than an S.

Sorry to beat a dead horse but for me the $1000 less I pay for a decked S rather then a base SL is worth paying $150 for the alarm and $150 for a armrest after market.

This is a dead horse that will perpetually be beaten.

I feel the SL's easily worth the extra money for the better stereo, alloys, and WAY better seat fabrics... as well as both front AND rear armrests, and not having to pay extra for cruise, power windows/locks, and keyless entry.

To each their own.

damn you! dont remind me, haha, i wish i would have gotten the SL, but at the time didnt wanna spend the extra $, this being my first new car etc.

but in retrospect, i would have gotten the SL. but at least for the seats i just ordered some nice covers from shearcomfort.com

What EV said -- well worth the upgrade, if only for the seats. And the other stuff.

That looks like the armrest from the '07 V that I took out for a test drive; that's where the power source was. The '08s is different.

Does the Zeta armrest have a cup holder on the back? If so, Isn't this directly over the existing cup holder? Just seemed weird to me...

Like this? Minus the report part lol

I have an armrest off ebay, its not bad per say its just not as big and the OEM for the SL model. Other than that its perfect, 15 mins of drilling and screwing in.

Hi all!

I would love to purchase this armrest, but I own a Nissan Latio in Singapore. Just wondering if this armrest would fit into my Latio as it has a foot brake instead of a handbrake. Does the front base of this console have an opening for the handbrake, or does it stop at the cup holder?

Thanks!

The zeta armrest looks like it's fixed, but the factory armrest pivots so you can move it out of the way when you don't want an arm rest.

Switch from S to SL,

17 replaces 2318 replaces 24 20 replaces 25

You lose the cupholders behind the e-brake

Heh, screw that. I'm glad I got the SL so I don't have to worry about all the fussy installation. Definitely need the alarm though, especially if you have expensive valuables locked up inside.

No fussy installation. 2 bolts, 2 screws, easy 10 minute swap with hand tools.

I think that getting the factory parts makes for a better arm rest. It does fold upwards so the arm rest doesn't interfere with the e-brake.

I took me only about 15 minutes to swap out the 3 parts (with son helping!!)

You need:

this bundle that cost $254

http://www.courtesyparts.com/v...=7153&

A 13mm socket & driver

A Torx screwdriver

and one additional M8 X 1.25 nut with washer.

There are only 2 nuts needed to secure the standard (no armrest) console. The arm rest console has a 3rd stud next to the e-brake that is a mounting point for the arm rest assembly.

So to properly install the new arm rest, you should screw down all 3 mounting studs.

A decked S? What is that? An S with all the stuff a basic SL comes with minus the armrest and awesome CVT?

I thought all SLs had an alarm system standard. Maybe not the best one in existence but mine goes off if someone tries to mess with the inside door locks and handle.

And about the whole armest thing, it's nice because I do store things in it and rest my arm on it all the time (duh) but I like the ones better that are attatched to the seat itself. Honestly, I think it's really odd that any Versa would not have one. I thought it was one of those things every car has since even the most basic of cars I've been in had one.

Nope, not all SLs come with an alarm. At least not here in Ontario. I don't know about the 09 models. But when I bought my 08 (SL fully loaded) an alarm from the dealer was not an option. Still don't have one ... nothing has happened yet ... but my baby gets to sleep in the garage at night

Maybe a Canada thing? Oh well
