You just cant make a decision, can you?

At least youre starting with a fresh platform with no damage. Good luck with everything..

haha, this is the final decision. the other one was just going to cost waaaaaaay too much to get repaired. why do that when i can buy one in perfectly good condition for 2x less than that? makes more sense!

*******MEGA UPDATE*********

a decent story for those that have been reading my progress thread/or care to read this:

so myself and my girlfriend's dad drove down to marietta, ga today to check out this 93 s13 i found (pictured above). well i don't know how many of you saw the weather today around the tennessee/alabama/georgia area, but yeah. it was bad. anyway, we met up with the guy, had some lunch and discussed cars, and then got down to business. on to the drive home! here are some tips for better living: rwd cars + interstate speeds + torrential rain = . also, the tires are fine so you can't place the blame on them! although maybe you can, they could just plain suck in the rain.

but, needless to say i made it home in one piece, as did the car.

the dude also showed me the shop he hangs out at, and man were there some nice cars there. his s13, the yellow zenki s14 from formula d was there, a ton of mr2's that the shop owner owns. i can't remember the name of it, all i know is that it's in marietta and right next to a shell station!

and so the work begins. silvia front is probably going to be installed saturday, followed by ordering all of the engine swap stuff mid-late next week.

edit: things i found in/about the car: s13 seats are not comfortable for 3+ hour trips. my cd player screen changes colors! a ton of pennies in the center console. something that looks like it was made for spackling/fiberglassing/etc. some ibubrofin. a pen. a tie rod. the windshield wipers suck, need to replace them asap.

yeah, it's getting that way.

i just wish i could find a write-up on how to do the install. i couldn't find ANYTHING on how to install the front end.

my corner lights don't sit as flush as others i've seen in pictures and i'm wondering if i've done something wrong

cars are expensive :||||||||||

i still need coilovers and wheels, otherwise i'll be riding with a nasty motor on top of stock 4x4 suspension and three stock se wheels and a wheel with a missing hubcap!

if anyone has some coilovers and/or wheels they're selling let me know

the 300 isn't mine. that's my pal's. i just have 2 240s!

also, i'm debating between getting electric fans or not. does it really cool that much?

i can always get them down the line...

It depends which electric fans you get... Altima fans cool the engine enough from what I hear. The biggest deal is getting rid of a lot of rotational mass on the rank. Not only is it a lot of mass but those fans are big size wise and keep in mind weight at a further distance from the center is harder to spin.. DOOOO ITTTT

i went with the 90-96? taurus fans, two speeds, supposed 3500 cfm of flow. and there cheap, like 30-50 bucks at your local junk yard... gets the job done
