Hello y'all -

New M35 owner here! I searched through the forum and didn't see this listed, though I'm sure it is somewhere. That said, sorry for the probably repeat post.

I have an '06 M35 with 33k miles. Everything seems perfect except for the VDC Off and SLIP lights coming on. Sometimes they go away, sometimes they stay on for a few minutes, sometimes they stay on for a few hours. Any thoughts?

Not driving on wet or slippery roads, nor at great inclines.

I think this means you need new rear brake pads. Check that out to see how much pad you have left.

Somone else will chime in as I'm not 100% sure

That was a thought, but brakes are about 95% all around. Muffler's good, as well.

Check your brake fluid.

Brake fluid's looking good...any other thoughts? I appreciate the suggestions, y'all.

Generally speaking when those lights come on and stay on together, there is an issue with either a braking system component (such as fluid levels, siezed calipers, etc...), you don't have 4 matching wheels on (if 1 tire is a different size, this can throw the system), or it means that there is a malfunction with the traction system that needs to be looked at by the dealer.
