VDC lights turn on and wont go off?

Discussion of Infiniti's amazing (and underrated) sport-luxury crossovers, the EX35 and EX37. For 2014, the EX series will be renamed QX50, in line with Ininfiit's new naming conventions.

Have you had your brakes checked? I had the same issue, and it turns out that once there is sufficient wear and usage on your pads/rotors the VDC light comes on and stays on (this is especially true under accleration).

The one thing I notice about my EX is that it likes its brakes!

Yes I think your correct.I`m feeling some vibration with the brakes and the light comes on, with harder acceleration. Can brake fluid level affect the VDC light?
Thanks for the info.

Seems to be the case. I was talking with my service advisor yesterday and he mentioned that my brakes are nearing the end, and will most likely be due for replacement at the next service. I brought up the point about the VDC light and he said that if I was out of town and away from the dealer, that I could top up the brake fluid and this should stop the VDC light from coming on (and staying on).
