I'm gonna be sad if this thread ever gets locked'd....

So I was dragged to the movie Precious last night... It was bad. Really bad. If you feel bad about your life go watch that movie. You'll leave sad. But you won't feel so much like s*** about yourself afterwards. But seriously. Not a recommended movie.

There was a lot of abuse, a lot of random "happy place" moments that didn't really make much sense, and a lot of ghetto b****es that can't even spell their own names, and was sort of a happy ending, but the amount of f***ed up stuff that was in the movie kind of made me think, "Ok, so now that all this messed up stuff has happened, where does she go from here?" It could have been much better planned out, but I can see where it can still be inspirational. I guess for me it just took a really long time for me to get into it.

Haha, in NY? Wouldn't count on it. New York winters are absolutely beautiful though. Especially in upstate NY.

Moving away from ones family is a shame, its never the same because they will live hours and hours away. I think I just might do the same though, Vancouver weather is the best compared the rest of Canada, but it still rains a lot and the night life isnt that great as I can imagine compared to Los Angeles. When I make my fortunes I will probably buy a house there.

On another note, I dont watch television or any new movies at all, I download good rated movies and cult classics are my favorite

Trust me, I know how it is moving away from family. California is a long way from Tennessee.

Ive never been to cali and never had the urge to see LA...although San diego or san jose i would. Ultimately I think the outskirts or Miami would be sweeeettt...unless i make some good dough, then i'll move to to friggin south beach...

lol not really, joking aside i love jersey and i would miss it very much..its got the most amazing surburbs, incredible diverse food and people and i'm less than 10 miles from manhattan...

its just soooo expensive to live here and overpopulated...well not over populated as 45% is open land but too many people in close proximity. car insurance is insane and i'm kind of over the snow..

Haha sorry, Philly people are generally not fans of Jersey people. They move to Jersey because "Philly is so dirty" or "Philly is so dangerous" but they continue to worship our sports teams (as if they still lived here) and clog up the highways cause they all still work here...

That being said I have dozens of friends in Jersey.

Vanessa, If you've never been, go to the Bodies Exhibit in NYC. That is some pretty interesting/disturbing stuff but it seems like you'd enjoy it. I went last year with my bio class and it was really disturbing but mind blowing none the less.
