4)Kevin, I am white, actually I'm Russian but I am Caucasian non-the-less. I live in a very diverse city and have always gone to school and worked in close proximity to people of all races, colors, nationalities, etc. I believe racist remarks if they are not made 100% in jest are on the line with killing kittens (you just don't do that s***!). Back in highschool There was a huge debate that arose from an incident where a group of black students called me out in the hall saying "hey white boy" (they were trying to be degrading with their words) so I turn around, knowing it would piss them off beyond belief and say "wtf do you want black boy" the s*** that followed was ridiculous and involved faculty and administration personnel, it took me a very short time explaining that if he has the absolute right to say white-boy to me (supposedly in a non-racist manner) then I have the right to turn around and do the same to him. I do not condone this kind of behavior and I believe racism is wrong but sometimes you gotta step on some peoples toes in retaliation (i never throw the first punch).
