Apple store's have such a draw. I've never bought a single item from there before but I've been to dozens of them.

I bought the iPod Touch from one. Nothing else though, really. The iPad really is just a giant iPod Touch though. Kinda overrated, IMO.

Started at my new job today and it all went great....except for when this 2005 Ford F150 Lariat 4x4 came in around closing time...first off, I just want to say f*** ALL OF FORD. Every damn Ford I touch it's like the f*** plague. Anyways, I was removing the wheels/tires to balance them and the first thing that went wrong, my 21mm Harbor Freight impact socket cracked when trying to remove one of the wheels. This was the first time I used the socket; only bought it because I was broke. So it didn't even last me 5 minutes. Harbor Freight sucks at anything that should be expensive. They make decent cheap stuff for even cheaper, but expensive stuff, they can't even compare. Anyways, I found another socket and finished taking the wheels off.

All the tires had some serious cupping on them, and they were all at least 3, and up to 6.5 ounces out of balance on either side. WTF did this guy do to his tires??????

Anyways I did what I could balancing them and put them all back on, then lowered the truck a little to torque the lugnuts properly (150 ft/lbs) and one of the studs in the front broke. This was like 5 mins after we closed so I couldn't do anything about it because all the parts stores were closed, and we had to close too...but the customer didn't mind that bad anyways. He's gonna come back to get it fixed another time. But it just sucks, breaking s*** on my first day. I followed procedure and everything; idk what happened. But my manager wasn't there, and he gets there before me tomorrow which also sucks. Ah what a great way to wrap up my first day at my new job

First day at a new job is always the toughest dude, and that goes for a week. Then you get that 3 weeks break in thinking you're getting the hang of it, some sh*t will happen and it will make you feel dumb again, lol. Give it time sir. :)

If they area big meaty mudding tires and they are cupping it's usually going to call for alot of weight. But past 10 ounces you aren't doing anything. When they call for a whole lot of weight I recommend you do a static balance. If they were hit-on weights as I assume. See, the way it works with the static is when It asks for the certain amount of weight just go ahead and split the difference on both sides. Say it called for 3 ounce, then put like 1.50 ounces on each side. Works alot better. I mean it's not going to be a great balance but that's about as good as it gets when you are balancing for a lot of weight. And man I know how it feels working on all those big a** lifted trucks, I work at a discount tire and man they just suck a**. Theres tons of them down here too and most of then come in dirty as chit.

sounds like you're gun is way too high if you're breaking sockets and studs.

Anyways, ford trucks aren't that bad :)

I was using a torque wrench to tighten the lugnuts...I never use my impact to tighten a wheel down. Improper torque = wraped rotors!

Fords seem to hate me so I hate them back. LOL I have to admit some of their newer cars and trucks are very nice...

He looks like the illegitimate child of Prince Charles, which lacks testosterone, but he sure is a character.

i think there is a tester you can get or you can put your head in the engine bay and rev the engine up a little and listen for a hissing sound also put your hand around the vacuum hoses and behind the engine and feel for sucking. Its not the best way to check but you can at least find a major vacuum leak like that
