No dude! You gotta use the NA motor. At most run TT low comp pistons w/wristpins. The beauty of that build is that it's cheaper then both a TT swap AND buying a TT.BeastZ32 wrote:That's the planI'm getting a job soon and I get to keep half of what I make, the rest goes toward college. So, I'm going to hunt down a Cheap TT motor and then begin my build. I had no idea Cheromanches S/C is almost 4k, so i've got to figure out how to make the Vortech work... I need to talk to him.

Yeah, i'm just afraid of snapping those pins. I'd never here the end of it from my parents and I seriously mean that. I was thinking of finding a core TT motor and then just bolting up my NA heads and other parts.car nut wrote:Running, yes. Running well, no. I think I mixed up some wires cause it seems to be misfiring. I'll fix it tomorrow.

I'd rather have a good strong part then something from Pep Boys. I have a TT clutch without a clutch booster, so I need something that'll last. Don't get me wrong, I bought a ton of stuff from Pep Boys, but it was all simple stuff like hose clamps and heatshrink.LIBRILZ wrote:
Why don't you just get on from a local auto store?
Yeah, I see what you're saying. The nice thing about the NA block is there's no oil passages to clog up (I don't like stuff like that). You could always just get a supercharger without it's own oiling system though. I wish I had just done this lol.BeastZ32 wrote:

It ended up being $120 shipped. I know it isn't that bad, but I'm almost out of money and the car is nowhere near where I want it. I still need:Pieceofsand wrote:eh, 100 bucks isn't that bad. just saying...
