you might want to look into this engine management. http://www.emeraldperformance.com a lot less $$$ than motec and it is already being used on VQ35's with ITB's. It retails for around $1500 with a harness and is easy to tune.

Wow. The ITB set up looks nice.

The car is sitting dormant in the garage. I am waiting to get on my car until I can afford the rewire and Motec ECU. I am aware of the other options out there but am very much sold on the product and service of the Motec product and staff.

Good luck with your project.

**UPDATE**

Well boys and girls........I went ahead and bought a Haltech ECU for the car and have been working on rewiring it. I know I preached and preached about Motech but, I finally came to the realization that $10,000 is a rediculous amount of money to spend on such an item for a street car.

So, the plan at this time is to finalize the wiring touch up some stuff in the engine room and get it to the dyno.

The guys at Injected Performance have been extremely helpful in this process and I am hopeful to be driving the vert again VERY soon. GOD, I miss driving this car!!!!

wow, 10g for a engine management system would be very hard to justify.

Glad to hear its finally under way again. Vids are a must of dyno runs and shake downs.

MICK, you got rid of your humps! You know the things left over after the door swap. How'd you do it?!

Yes, I did. I just hate the look of protrusions on that clean door line. After all, those things are useless once you remove the door pillars.

Another of the million things I've done and shoulda "how to'd". Oh well, for mine I just took a cut off wheel and removed them until they were below the door line. The next part was the tricky part. Making a new panel to finish that area because the original panel ties into your rear inner panel. In my case, I removed all of the rear interior and "tinned" in the back area. So, I just made two flat panels that mount with the two screw that hold down the boot cover.

Pretty painless actually. But finding a solution to cover that area when your done will be the test.

Good Luck! It looks amazing when there gone. Let me know if you have further questions.

I would say just sand down the panel till its smooth and then repair that area with fiberglass and sand it to a smooth finish. Then, as you said, repaint.

If you do it write it up. I'm sure others may be interested.

Good luck.

As of know I don't plan on having the car there. But you never know. I only had a months notice last year.

However, I will be going to the show as a spectator regardless.

Will you be going?

Ok S15nS13vert. Here's the write up:

1.) Buy 2x 4x8 aluminum sheets.2.) Make templates of areas to be covered with cardboard3.) Cut & bend aluminum to shape4.) Fashion mounts5.) Upholster6.) Install

Pretty simple really.

I don't have any "in process" pictures as this was done like 3 years ago or so.
