I have the new Nano with the lightning connector. I can't get my Murano to recognize the ipod when connected with the Murano 30 pin connector thru the Apple adapter to the Nano. Is anyone using the latest Nano with the cable thru the lightning adapter?

I fear this is going to be the first of many discrepancies with the new lightning connector.

I'm glad I came across this as I was considering the OE iPod interface with my 370Z. I will keep an eye here to see if anyone posts.

I made a thread in general chat to try and see if anyone is having the same issues. It would be nice to get a list of Nissans/Infinitis that work with the newer iOS Lightning devices.

I actually think it is the ebay harness I have that is not working and not the adapter. I went ahead and ordered an OEM harness, hope that solves the problem.

Let me know how you make out for sure. This will likely make or break me adding the OEM iPod interface to my Z.

I have an Apple 30 pin to lightning connector and it does bring up song information on the radio and you are able to control from the steering wheel controls. It does NOT charge the iWhatever while it is attached. I was using my iPhone 5 and assume the functionality will be the same for any lightning connected Apple product.

It was the replacement cable that was the issue. I got a factory 30 pin connector and with my Apple adaptor the 7th Gen Nano is working great and displays all the info on the nav screen like before. Yea!
