Yo!

Anyone here with a Nissan OEM iPod interface using the adapter for a Lightning device (new iPod Nano/iPhone5)? If so, any issues?

There is a guy in the Murano forums who isn't able to get his Nano to work with the 30-pin adapter:

I am using an iPhone5 via streaming BT in my Mazda with no issues, and it pairs via BT to my 370 just fine, but no streaming audio as the 40th Anniversary in US doesn't have nav.

Anyone here using a newer gen Apple device with their OEM Nissan/Infiniti setup without issues?

I have an iPad 4 with the lightning connector. So far the only car I have tried it in is my 2012 Altima which has Bose non-navigation audio with OEM iPod integration via a USB port (you have to use your own USB cable since the car just has a port like a computer does). It worked as expected without any issues - all controls worked and it played audio from all the apps I tried.

I wish my car had bluetooth or ipod integration. Or just a gorram auxiliary input. Or an effing tape deck. I have so many portable media devices and none of them work in my car. :squint:

I had the same issue in the 500 Chris. They make an adapter, but its $70+. I got a wired FM modulator for mine that hooks into the antenna wire at the radio input. Basically you hook it up, setup the power wires and then set the channel you want it on. When you want to use it, you flip on the power switch and it takes over that channel. Much cheaper and easier for an aux input.
