Usdm Silvia build thread

well i bought the car with the entire front end apart so i might as well have put the front end on in the first place. I am very aware that nissan did not manufacture a silvia in the US but its just a title i am not saying that i have a legit usdm silvia. you need to chill out and you dont have to bold your text to increase my ability to read it. this is a "build thread" the pink SE's are going to be drift spares but for right now they are my DD wheels till i have the money to get nice low profile tires for the Z33's. i know that i could very well relocate the wiring harness but why would i relocate the harness for the KA when the car is going to be swapped to a sr20 and have to have the entire harness removed then. and if you like 4x4 status with a 50 series tire up front and a 45 series tire in the back then you do that to your car. im sorry that i am 19year old kid that doesnt have the most profitable job to make my car so super nice in a week like some kids get their daddy's to do. so please stop being a jackass and continue on your merry way.

its so easy to relocate the harness, especially since you have experience with putting the silvia front on. its something that no matter what you should do. saying its just a ka harness and you're waiting for an sr is stupid. what if you rub through your harness this weekend. can you purchase a full sr swap?

also don't play the 19 year old kid thing. get a job like everyone else. you're an adult.

i don't like the wheels but you have a nice clean base car to work with

im not trying to be a d!ck, but you need to read thoroughly before you put your two cents in, i swapped the wheels and tires to stop the rubbing, and i have a job, i stated both of those things above. thank you for the compliment though. it is a clean base to start with. it has absolutely no rust anywhere

Hate to see the pop ups go but the car looks pretty nice otherwise. That and offset license plates look kind of silly on bumpers with built in license plate brackets. Can't wait to see the SR and the return of the Z33 wheels.

i have never been a fan of pop ups loland the license plate is to cover up the lack of a plastic grill and a whole in the bumperand i am also stoked about some nice tires on those wheels and being boosted finally but that is probably not to close from now, probably a year away maybe less depending on my financial situation

its a build thread man, its my car, and im not jumping on a bandwagon or trying to fit in, and i dont know if you knew this but ebay is not a brand and the exhaust i bought was not made by "ebay" its just a decent 3" cat back exhaust so i would apreciate the douche comments to cease please and thank you

On topic though, I think some of you guys need to give this kid a break. He knows it's not a Silvia. And as long as he keeps updating this thread along with the progression of the car, then he can call it a "build thread". Hell, everyone else makes build threads these days. We all started somewhere.... he may even become the next Broadfield. You just never know!

check your gaskets i know my exhaust got so hot i burned right trough those exact gaskets. i had to replace them every 3 weeks

hell yeah im going, i went when i had my prelude and did some time attack. lol we should get a train of nico members to meet up and go together

it is my gaskets basically, im just gonna get some high temp sealer and do the cheap route lol

and thanks man, those rims are about to be bronze ftmfw because the cops are starting to recognize my car around town i even had a cop take picture of my car because he liked my wheels and then said he knew where i lived! i was like s*** i need to ditch these asap lol

I feel you on the financial situation thing too haha, I get some crap hours at work, and car's aren't the best hobby for that situation
