My buddy Nathan and I are making motor mounts for the CA Motor. (We are NOT a vendor) I know there is a for sale section, but a member (kahlistrophic) who has a CA advised me that you CA guys have a hard time finding mounts.

The mounts are made of polyurethane and aircraft grade aluminum. They will be direct bolt-in, no modifications needed, stock motor height and will be backed by a 1-yr warranty, regardless of power output.

These mounts are not the mounts made by Azhitman on Nico on this link:http://www.nicoclub.com/articles.php?id=215490His mounts are made from Flexane 94, which has a tensile strength of 2800 psi and can withstand temperatures of up to 180 degrees.

Our mounts are made of polyurethane that has a tensile strength of 4000 psi and can withstand constant temperatures in excess of 185+ degrees. The aluminum is aircraft grade aluminum with yield strength of 35,000 psi and can withstand constant temperatures of 300+ degrees. Perhaps it’s overkill, but less for you to worry about.

As for resistance, the polyurethane is Oil, Abrasion, Tear, Impact, Weather, Chemical and Electrical Resistant.

Well, here's the finished product. Mounts are going to be for sale very soon. We are also working on the creating transmission mounts. The mounts are definitely stiffer than stock. Some vibration is present but no where near solid mounts. There is very little movement of the transmission which is nice. Can't compare them to Nismo as I have never had them, but these things are awesome.

The 1 year warranty is only valid through the original buyer.

Here are some pics:

Stock Mount

The only change to the mounts is that we will be using serrated flange nuts instead of the bolt and lock tite washers.

The price will be $100 shipped which includes paypal fees. We will only be taking paypal and money orders. No checks. Don't want to have to worry about NSF checks.

If payment is made, please send me an e-mail ([email protected]) so I can reserve your mount. In that e-mail, please send the address where you want the mounts to be mailed. They will be mailed out via Priority Mail along with Confirmation Number.

Remember, we guarantee these mounts for 1-year to the ORIGINAL buyer. We will keep track of the buyer to make sure of this.

The paypal to send the $100 is [email protected]. If you intend on mailing a money order, please send it Certified and contact me via e-mail for an address to send it to.

If we can get 10 people to purchase them, I will drop the price to $80/shipped.

What part of florida you guys located in? If your close maybe you can use my car as a test vehicle to make sure all is well, unless you guys have 1 already.

The only thing I'm concerned with is that you guys get the height of the mounts correct, cause the exhaust side is lower than the intake side.

Thanks for the offer to test them out. We are in West Palm Beach, about 1 hour north of Miami. However, Kalel (kahlistrophic) will be test fitting them. We will make sure they are perfect before we sell them. Even if it takes a while...

Here's our finished mounts for the KA/SR.

The way my engine sits in the car now with stock KA mounts the intake side is higher than the exhaust side. The engine looks a little off. Shouldn't the intake side be lower than the exhaust side? I never seen real Ca mounts so I'm not sure?

It's similar to the KA. The exhaust side sits lower than the intake side.

KA/SR guys, I've had a few. But no-one for CA.... They can be pre-ordered, just remember that I won't have them ready for about a month.

I am a CA guy. I can spread the word to some of my friends in the UK as they would probably be very interested. I will let you know.

As far as the 10 people price drop to $80 is that for all the mount to include sr and ka or just the ca? this being the case...i will drop the funds by paypal in a few days. need to scrape a little cash together on pay day.

That would be awesome if your friends are interested.

The group buy is only for the CA mounts.

i posted a link on the site and the mod closed it out. i tried and the fact that they are all in the uk might make shipping a little pricey.

i tried.

Thanks wewders & new200guy for your orders. I was given a CA driver side mount to make to help me make the mounts perfect. We will be working on them very soon.

After we get the mounts done and see the feed back/demand,we will work on transmission mounts as well. And these will be bolt in as well.

Mounts have been made and were sent to kahlistrophic.

I await his feedback.

For future reference everyone, if an order is placed, please e-mail me at [email protected] to advise me of such. I check this e-mail 24/7 but do not check my paypal unless someone states they've ordered them. When I receive an e-mail, I WILL respond to it advising that monies have been received. If you do not receive said e-mail, double check the e-mail address and send it again.

Thanks again.

Kahlil said the mounts should be the right height. He's putting the mounts and engine in his car this weekend.

Kahlil, chime in when you can. Thanks.

Sorry for the delay guys. Kahlil called me last night and advised that the mounts need to be revised. Once modified and engine tilt and placement is correct, I will mail the ones already purchased out.

I appreciate your patience. My goal is to provide you with a great product at a great price.

Thanks guys.

no problemo, i prefer a quality product versus a quantity product.
