it was 500 for the basic uprev tune.. the place i went to rdz motor sports in Ct then will give your car a more specific tune for another 150. so 650 total

Ive been thinking about doing this... could you maybe describe what went down with the shop /tune?

Can you switch to different tunes with the cruise control like Ive seen on others?

yes i can, i have a custom tune, the up rev tune and a valet tune, it stops the car from going over 30mph and over 3k. i first went to the shop to see if they already had my ecu cracked, they didnt. i waited about a week, got the call to come it cause it was done, drove it, they plugged their computer into the obdII port, tuned it for what mods i have, and the area in which i live in, and in a half hour i was out the door.

Cool, so no dyno tune? for that kind of money I would expect it to be dyno tuned to get the most gains....

You can dyno a CVT to find gains. But you wont be able to get specific before and after numbers.

You just run the car at WOT in either CVT or Manual mode. The transmission will behave consistently as long as you have the throttle all the way down. Comparing the two dyno charts will show you what you've gained.

In the next few weeks I will be doing an UpRev tune and will dyno it as well.

^ I was about to call BS, but then I saw your profile and noticed you were boosted :bigthumb:

Good to hear that you guys are all liking the UpRev tunes. I have my RL y-pipe shipping to me soon, gonna get my custom exhaust after I install that, then gonna pick up the UpRev software!

How much MPGs are we talking about?

Any issues after the tune?

Would anyone here who has an UpRev tune for an Altima 3.5 care to share the tuned ROM file for comparison amongst our tunes? I am willing to share my ROM file which was tuned by an UpRev pro-tuner. I know there is much more to gain from our engines. There's only a few of us Altima 3.5 owners out here and we can start helping each other by doing this. Thanks.

I don't have the tools to pull the ROM file because I didn't buy the tuner kit. If you are willing to come to the Bay Area, CA or Reno NV (where I'll be moving to in 2 weeks), you can pull it from my car. Shoot me a PM because I don't check this forum much anymore.

hey shift_coupe. i live in CT as well. i currently have my 2.5s for sale but until i find a buyer, i am willing to do great and worthy mods to it. Mine is MT, it would great to feel it getting more power identical to a stock 3.5SR if the uprev and mods do just that on a 2.5. would it be alright to hit up you by text or email? i want send you a pm too but i am still fairly new in these boards. I don't have a fb unfortunately to get in contact sooner. Thanks.
