project looks amazing. im so glad we have knowledgable people here... hence why i come here instead of friends for help....

i know this guy that tried to port and polish his intake manifold by running a hose from the manifold to a 25lb bag of sand blasting sand...and started the car and left it running...

engine started up and ran last night. set my timing but i still need to play with my TPS but it it idles as 750RPM. it ran kinda ruff at first but the more it runs the better it sounds. looks like i have a bad VTC solenoid though as it makes some racket in the lower RPMs. I also think I have a small boost leak somewhere on my intake manifold and the crush washers on my RX7 oil cooler have a slight oil leak, and one of my AN fittings has a slight water leak. Could be a lot worse though for its first real run though!

my innovate LC-1 craped out on me. the serial connection just stopped working. innovate was great however, and issues me an RMA number. Hopefully it won't take them to long to get me a new one.
