UPDATE, a few pics from this weekend's work -

Got the dump pipe fabricated, wrapped and installed and re-clocked the wastegate flange...

Forgot to take pics of my incredibly cool intercooler mounts and my oil cooler intallation, but I'll get some next weekend.

I don't really like the runners on the manifold. They kinda stick out too much, but maybe it's just the picture.

I really like everything else though, and good call on the pulleys. Can't wait to hear how it runs.

Looking real sweet man! Love the pulleys, are those UR? I have the crank and WP pulleys but would love to get a hold of the PS and Alt. pulleys, any suggestions? Boost baby Boost!

They're not UR - They're actually Ancient Chinese Secret.

This shop is amazing, and the fabrication Jason is doing on this car is phenomenal.

I'll post pics of my IC mount and some of the other custom goodies this weekend.

My PC is ahving a hard time displaying pics attached in posts today. I just waited over a minute to see the front view of the motor...It was worth every second!

crzycav, its a tubular manifold. The runners are supposed to 'stick out' like that.

UPDATED!!!!

Well guys, we fired up the motor (in NA trim) Saturday morning. It fired on the FIRST TOUCH of the starter, and settled into a smooth, sexy idle. No leaks, no weird noises, great oil pressure...

Let it run for about 15 minutes and changed the oil. NO DRAMA, no metal, clear golden oil.

Let it run for another 15 minutes to verify all functions were good, ran it up to about 2500 RPM for a few seconds, sounds great, all Consult readings in perfect spec.

We're hooking up all the "boost-related" stuff now, and it should be ready for tuning next weekend.

Still needs wires tucked in, some details wrapped up, some of the aluminum parts re-polished... and we have a few more custom goodies that we're fabricating as well.

So, here's new pics!

BEST DAMN FABRICATOR AND ENGINE BUILDER IN AZ - and a close personal friend. I am truly blessed to spend Saturdays working side-by-side with this guy in the garage.... Mr. Jason McCoy!

That is a bad azz looking engine. Pretty much a work of art. I like all of the bling bling under the hood but I am sure that it will throw down some impressive numbers on completion. Keep us up to date on the progress. Untill then I am going to sit right here and eat my waiting for the finall product

Now how about that hood that you were talking about? I wonder what would be happening if we had jason do all the work from day one on motor one? Glad to hear that she is runing.

Nology plug wires. Well worth the extra $ just for the quality of construction alone.

Hey Greg,

Nice job, i really like how you did the turbo oil feed line around the front, makes it easy to take off the valve cover to adjust the valves.Nice and neat with the Adel clamps.
