lol CF? its jsut a factory lid and veilside replica spoiler primered. u idiot...j/k dude. i got the whole kit minus the eyebrow and spoiler from ebay like 2 years ago. its a bomex knock off. i was too young and stupid then to know the difference except for the $400+ i saved. its still fits decent and is cheap to replace. extremedimensionz.com i think it is actually got an old pic of my car to sell the sideskirts i have. they also sell the bumpers at like $200 for the front. once i get my car running i have to take more pics to prove it my car so they can take down the pics or sponsor me since i didnt give them permission to use the pic. i need a new front bumper anyway so y not

Yeah, i guess i am an idiot or something...

Anyways, im happy to say that the car is running again and even moves again (helps when the transmission is in one piece)! I battled a fuel leak for about 6 hours last night/early this morning/today with that pile of garbage JWT calls a fuel rail...I think im just JWT Deficient...anyways, its fixed, I had to make new brackets and depth clips for it, but now its dry as a bone and it runs awesome...I forgot how beautiful the HKS SSQV BOV sounded....I havent gotten it on the street yet because I dont have insurance on it yet, (i will tomorrow).....

Anyways, Ill have an update for you once I get it on the street, and hopefully I will have dry pavement to drive it on...seeing as the spring in the wastegate is set at one bar..

Well I have been driving the car now for a few days with the new setup on the old tune, richened up and some timing taken out to play it super safe and all I can say is that I love this turbo. I doesnt spool down low like the other one did, but as soon as it starts to spool I am having to correct back and forth and shift because it comes on. The car is no longer smooth and progressive, but, (quote to PSI240sx) It is brash and unrefined, just the way I like it. Ill be heading to the dyno next week I hope to get the tuning done for both race fuel and daily driving. Ill try and get some video while im up there. ....Come on 400's :)

Yea..I talked to the dyno shop today and its going to be the end of next week until we get it done, and the dragstrip opens next weekend and the other dragstrip opens the weekend after, so I should have some numbers and times real soon.

What HP levels is the new XS turbo capable of? And boost levels? It's the main turbo I am planning on using. What are your thoughts on it?

So far so good, But it seems that I might have popped the headgasket, still got some more checking to do, but im getting a lot of blowby and its smoking a bit at high rpm's.

The turbo is capable of 600 in the right application, I dont have enough fuel or balls for that much power so I wont be running it that high, but im looking for mid-high 400's.

I'm looking for mid 500's. Is the boost smooth all the way through? And at what level does boost begin?

no, its not smooth at all if you read my previous post. The boost comes on at 4krpm and when it comes on it comes on 100%.

Ok, Figured Id give another update on the car. Ive been driving it quit a bit lately and aty only 1 bar it really liks to kick the back end out in 2nd and sometimes 3rd. This is running on the old tune on the the new turbo with timing pulled out and fuel added. I am guessing the car will make more HP at the same amount of boost. I am going up on either thursday or frieday of this week to get all the tuning done and will have numbers for you ver very soon.

those are going to be some impressive numbers. we need something to compete with these stock block sr dyno queens i keep seeing everywhere. i know your not going for 500+rwhp but close to it will shut some poeple up

Wellm we did some fuel calculations today and I should technically run out of fuel at like 475~~ hp with 50psi base fuel pressure, about 500hp with a 57psi base pressure. We will have to see how it goes and how the car feels.
