I case anyone wants to know or cares about my KA-T mainly track car, here are some pics I took yesterday. Theres more stuff put back on now, minus the fuel system which are shown in these pictures. I should have it running well enough to get it on the flatbed to take it to get tuned. Anyways...on with the pics.

Siemens 72lb injectors, Walbro in take and another undecided on which in-line pump to use as a booster. Aeromotive FPR, JWT Fuel rail and some kind of a fancy overpriced fuel filter and lots of fuel pressure.

What do you mean finish my intake manifold?

looks like its painted dark purple. i painted my valve cover a couple weeks ago and it turned out pretty good but it was a pain to do all the sanding. just wanted to see how long it took you to sand it all down and everything.

Thanks for the compiments guys.

The upper plenum of the intake manifold is powdercoated black. It came out good as the guy said that he would spray it on thick, and now youd never even know it was rough to begin with.

BTW. The intercooler is back in, im taking the u-bends and compressor housing to work tomorrow to hitup the TIG welder. Im only missing ONE fitting for the fuel system and an inline fuel filter. Then I will tackle the wiring issue.

Well, another week has passed, and then some. I have the fuel system finished and done and re-wired. I have the IC piping done and turbo mounted, still need to to the wastegate. The car is at the race shop getting some sheet metal work done, the 6pt cage will be done tomorrow and the hood cutout for the turbo will be done tomorrow as well. I am planning on picking it up after work and snapping some pics for everyone. Pretty much the last things i have to do are the WG and dump pipe, driveshaft loop, lots of wiring cleanup and clean the damn thing up and drive it, I am projecting that my work schedule this week will involve 7 days and lots of overtime, but if now, I should be driving it next weekend. Anyways, this is an update if anyone cares. Look for pics on here and/or on http://www.ka-t.org tomorrow-ish.

Oh, and in the last pic look real close under the turbo and you can see the big *** Innovative Turbo wastegate that more closely resembles some kind of kitchen appliance in size.

Are you concerned at all about your spark not being strong enough? Do you think you will you need to go to an external coil?

Im not concerned about it and havent thought about doing that because the car has seen 22psi and never even a bobble, but if needed ill run a diff coil.

how much difference in power does changing spark gap make?I dynoed at 17 psi with .028 plug gap and made 310 at the wheels. Should I make it .030 or will it not really make a difference?I will install new plugs the next time I go to the dyno also.Rick, I can't wait to see what your car does after your changes and after doing some good tuning. 11s are coming soon!
