so i heard back from the shop yesterday. turns out he doesnt do it in house. he sends them to florida to have them done. its the same company who makes power house fuel rails for supras. mine should be here next week. they can make them for stock injector fittings or like mine i had them done for bosch style fitting. on teh return it has a -6am fitting and on the feed it has a -8an fitting. they have stock mounting location and tabs. i am very excited to get this piece. i'm not sure how much it flows over teh factory rail. they are also highly polished aluminum. i'll post some pics later this week when i install it. also i got done painting and cleaning my engine today. who wants teaser pics??? also who can host them for me lol.

Titian motorsports did it right? I know they do a lot of rails anyhow and they are down here. Good company, I'm sure you'll be very impressed with the final product.

I've been told that the standard rail is up to the task! Unless you want the bling look and standard set up for aftermarket fittings. Seems we're all taking different paths to acieve our objectives. I wish everyone the best of luck as my motor is being this upcoming saturday! Just went to my girlfriend's old motor today and found it to still be rotating with excellent compression, so it's going back in with some new HKS camshafts, a hybrid gearbox w/helical LSD (longer ratio) and a new suspension. As for my own. It will sport a hybrid gearbox w/helical LSD, 720CC injectors sheetmetal intake manifold (compliments of B.Y.P. racing), sweet exhaust manifold (compliments of B.Y.P. racing) and couple of top of the line BOV's, a nice HKS wastegate and 60-1 stage III to boot. Let's have some fun boys. I will be the undisputed B12 FWD Sentra with CA18DET king. My highway racing days are over, but I'll have some fun at the track.

The head welder and design tech at B.Y.P. racing (Harry) did both the exhaust and intake manifolds for me! the intake manifold is getting polished and i was too sorry to go to the machine shop and photo it. The exhaust manifold I have in my closet because I don't want droolers to be finger fu**ing it when the machinist turns his back. Contrary to what some would say about this shop, these guys are very, very competent at what they do or else I wouldn't be dealing with them. I'll get a pic of the intake tomorrow and post it up for everyone to see. I can also post some pics of the ones he made for the guys with the RB25DET's down here as well as the KA's. As well as tuning, fabricating your dreams is what he does so well and not to be pulling his nuts, I do give credit where credit is due. And when the work is garbage, I'm very good at puking about it also, regardless of who's work it is.

Quote »how much do they charge for a intake manifold?
I just called down to the shop to ask harry and he left for the day, so I'll get back to you on it as I completely forgot what I paid for my own. But I did make the statement "Treat me like a customer and not a friend"; especially when it comes to performance (No skating)!Quote »did they flow bench the stock one against there design?
I'll be lying to you if I said yeah! But the plenum looks as if it can house individual throttle boddies! Quote »also what tb you gonna use?
I have an edelbrock 73mm ford mustang unit modified to work with my intake. If you're interested and I mean really interested (which I think you are), I can get with him tomorrow and definitely get you something thing that not only has the bling, but high flow characteristics to go with it. He's doing a manifold on a KA and it is drop-dead awesome. You RWD boys get all the perks because of the amount of space you have which ultimately lets him design at will. So I'll keep you posted!

that exhaust manifold is sweet! that has a t3 flange, right? cuz IIRC you are using a t3/t4 hybrid. how much did that manifold run you and is there a chance the shop could make another one? thanks! if you dont wanna post here, hit me up on AIM (Two4ZeroSXTURBO) or e-mail me ([email protected])

Quote »i know what i am gonna bring to the table and hopefully will be crowned highest hp ca in the states.
I'll try and take honors of having the fastest FWD sentra in the states (Top end). I'm going for 185mph and I have paid good money to have a gearbox created just for that feat! I probably won't get 185mph, but I will be lurking in the ball park. I'm going to the information in a few minutes as I got to pass by the shop anyway to drop off a KA24DE headgasket for the big boost 240 that just quietly trashed a piston recently. Anyway, here's a sneak preview of my intake manifold (rough stages).

Nice manifolds boost_boy i'm surprised at the quality of the work. They look really top notch. It's a shame to see what the first representative of byp established them as. I'm glad to see that isn't the case anymore.

I'm glad to see that isn't the case anymore.
They actually are really cool guys just like you and I with an ambition to try and be good at what they do. Each one has a specialty: One does sick things with Toyotas, One does sick things with Hondas, one does sick things with nissans and that's where i ride shot-gun at and one does articulate things with a tig and mig welder as well as being a fuel management tuner. I think they got a bad rap especially with the name, but when you think about what Jamaicans call their homeland (Yard) as well as them starting out building cars in a back yard (literally), only then will you understand. I'm pretty particular about sub-ghetto workmanship and I turn my nose to the shop or individual(s) who practice works of that nature. I've known these boys for over 5 years and I've learned some things from them and taught some things as well. We share knowledge and experiences as they evolve in this brutal game of import racing. I'm going to post a pic of an intake manifold that's nearly completed for the KA24DE and you guys can let me know what you would pay for a manifold of this caliber.
