I don't know what the market is on sheetmetal manifolds or know how much they go for, but this one goes for "$900" and quoted from the horses mouth. There's always some room for negotiation, but I am not the welder here. Let me know what you think as I'm sure feedback is definitely warranted. And BTW, this is not through me because I don't need the money, but directly to the man himself. If anyone wishes to contact him/them, let me know and I'll set it up. Here's the manifold of the 400+whp 240sx with KA24de:

I say to all that's interested, call them and ask for harry and explain to him what you want. I'm sure if he sees there's some seriousness involved, he would produce a better figure or at least you can see what his angle is. It would definitely eliminate the messenger boy:D

If you can see this pic, you'll see the inside of my manifold. I don't see much in there to restrict or inhibit excellent flow.

looks nice. my only complaint is that they should have velocity stacks in there.

I'll ask as to why they're not included! Why would they be used? Is it for equal distribution of air to all cylinders?

as my understanding the velocity direct the air better the give it alittle more umpff going in. they my general basic understanding. every surge tank i have ever seen has them.

Most of the ones I've seen are based on the design of the plenum for routing air evenly amongst the cylinders. Looking at the factor plenum, I see very few restrictions and I think that is what's most important. The ability of the chamber to house high volumes of air and delivering it in the most unrestricted manner is what I feel is gonna cover the boost and flow side. If you want that extra ummmph, crank in another degree of ignition timing or run the engine on it's brink;) Who knows what really works and doesn't work! The factory one did nice, but I cannot justify a throttle body that has more diameter than my intake plenum.
