Typical temperatures on a hard driven clutch can exceed many many hundreds of degrees, so much so that even flywheels are heat soaked and warp.
Have you ever been to a saw mill or furniture factory? Those disc take a beatting ALL DAY LONG and temperatures do get quite high.

That's why I bought solid iron rivets and used 24 rivets instead of the original 16.

You said it yourself. Buy a $300 ACT clutch. Again that's $300 without shipping to CR and customs. Anyway, the entire 240mm clutch ASSEMBLY cost me $260.
