thanks.

for the engine, i think i might stick with the sohc haha. it fires up every time, i have no problems with it at all, except power.

i'm gonna drive on the sohc a bit more to learn how to maneuver the car with lower power.after a while i might get a dohc and build it up, but no turbo.

im gonna do a compression test soon to see what shape my motor is in.

for exterior plans:

this would not happen for a while, but it would be awesome.

get a pair of my same wheels but 15x10 -45 for rears:

get some 50mm overs for the rear (looking some that are the biggest to cover up my QP dimple) get 20/30mm fronts, because i am about 25mm from flush in the front still.

get some simple sideskirts

get something for the rear.

but...i need to focus on performance s*** first.

Dont trade ur wheels. I would love to have that set. I would love even more to have that -45 set on my coupe . Wide FTW.

did you decide what school to go to yet???

cuz wyoyech is such a waste of money in my opinion... i am at UTI and there a lot of washington kids here (sacramento) anyway wyotech doesnt deal with any specific make or type of big company... they only have some sort of NHRA thing which is weird and they dont guaranty you a job after graduation .... at UTI you work with the auto company's and they have a great student services program which help you get a job while in school and after you graduate for life... not to mention after graduation you could retake any course for refreshment pourposes if needed to...

sorry for the long hater paragraph but i just thought you should know before you make your decision

btw ... nice choice in keeping your rims

thanks for the input. i went to socal for a week and checked s*** out.UTI was by far better than wyotech. i checked out the wyotech in long beach, and the UTI in rancho cucamonga. UTI definitely had their s*** together. as of now, that's where i want to go.

and i didn't keep my wheels. they are gone...

also getting smaller tires for the front, and moving front tires with more tread to the rear.

10-15mm spacers for the front as well.

hopefully some kind of simple skirts for <150.

i actually heard of the skide plate idea somewhere on here. i think they used a do not enter sign which is about a foot wider than this one.

wheels are 17x9 -5 in rear and 17x9 +20 up front. 235/40 all around currently getting a 215/45 up front soon and some 15mm spacers. megans are max low all around with one collar removed in the rear.

damn that thing is huge. what kind of sign is it?

spread the word. free is better than $150 for a legit skid plate. just have to snatch up a speed limit or do not enter sign or something else of the sort.

could the sign create any issues with airflow out of the engine bay?

Hahaha, nah it's not that big, I'll have to get a top shot of it tomorrow and you'll see. I think it just looks big because of the way I took the picture. As far as airflow issues, I don't think it would make too big of a difference, plus I'm running a Permacool fan so I don't really have to worry much about cooling issues.
