vk/vh do lack the support, thats actually a great market to be in...

I have no qualms with swapping manufacturers... except for wiring

if I can one day, i'd like to make bell housings so we can fit a 4g63 evo motor, into a s13 and put them into rwd cars... that would be sick.

i have a friend who is the crew cheif for a race team and they run a eclipse with a 4g mounted longitudinal to just rear wheel ill have to find pictures for you and bast240 that sound like a nice project i am doing a tubular front and read subframe the rear is already in the works not quite done yet i had no desire to replace my front frame rails it was just unnecessary but i do like the sla plan i was going to do that with a skyline front suspension and go allwheel but i decided to just finsih the car before i got way to deep.

well my front frame rails are rusted and bent, so its just easier to replace them, and the SLA is a conversion ive wanted to do to like EVERY strut car ive ever owned

im basicly building this car out of w/e i have laying around / can trade for / can grab from work. (steel fab shop)

lots of work man, good stuff....don't think you can track that legally right? i think the cage might be "an unfair advantage" with the firewall support and all but i might be wrong...also did they take the roof off when building it? there's a blind spot that can't be welded if not and if hit there it could be fatal but if its for kicks then fuq it lol also i personally love the blk/red and over all your car is really dope. good job my opinion

the floor is cut out so i just drop the whole cage down and welded the top then slide everything back up into place so its all fully welded but yea theres deff some classes that the car wont be allowed to compete in. they are running 4 standing mile events near my house this summer so i plan on running in those i dont think the cage will matter for that but ill have to check the rules

sorry iv been slacking on the pics but iv got some good ones and will have more sunday but i pulled the valve covers off the new motor and it looks like the guy who had this car was up to date with routine maintenance i was really excited. the motor should be bolted to the car this weekend if all goes as planed nex thing to tackle is mating the z33 6 speed i think im just going to make a bastard child bell housing and weld the flange onto the original bell housing minus the z33 flange obviously

More than anything.... congrats on all the hard work.

I think the hood spacers should go

The wheels does not flow with the car. I personally like a clean look... I don't mean... "put the stock wheels on" but just other wheels.... no color on the wheels.

Car looks lower on the front than the back.... Need same height all around...

Wheels could be wider on the back....

Can you say Aligment?

well the wheels are going actually i think im goin to get some te37s the alignment in the picture is cause the coilover bolts werent tight it was just thrown together to roll it thats not how it was driven people have mixed feelings about the hood spacers i was debatig for awhile but with the side skirts i think it really looks good so they will probably stay untill i get bored of them. and the height thing has been address i had to raise the back to get it on the dyno i then lowered it back down the pics just dont show it they were taken the day after i tuned it

Well all in all nice job man, with all the rust problems you usually run into you dealt with it pretty well, looks nice with the silvia setup although I wouldn't have gone with it, but to each his own ><

good job

Man you put some work in on that car. Nice job and it feels good knowing that you did it yourself yes?
