Loose the hood spacers asap. Other than that, looks like a pretty beastly sil40. Maybe some wetsanding to make the paintjob a little better?

Btw, what lip you got on there?

the upper arms as in the strut tower mounting points if that wat your talking about i got a couple pictures on how i did that it wasn't that har the hardest part was getting the right angle front to back and side to side to match the original strut tower

dont overdoe the red and black paint scheme. its corny. get some skirts, and wheels with proper offsets.

then lower the back 1.5 inches. gloss black would be better. the front height is perfect.

great work so far!

ill have to post a pic of how it sits now the back is about a 1.5" lower already that top pic is before it took it all back apart we had to raise the back to get it on the dyno so that was right after i tuned it but once that was done we crushed it again and yea im selling those wheels i either want volk te37 bbs lm or those one lug wheels only problem with those are they only come in 19" and 20"

i noticed you drilled holes but no dimple dies, why not? That doesn't make your plate stronger by just drilling holes.

those holes are for weight and just because i like the look the holes are only in places were theres really not much weight supported not to mention a dimple die that does 3/16 plate is really expensive i have A piller and B piller supports that arn't welded in yet that are out of 18 gauge and those are dimple died ill post pics of that once there in i just got to take my windsheild out first

Well then my next question is why did you go so thick on that metal, its a tarmac car, not a offroad/rally car. 1/8 is way too thick for those places, some nice 14 gage steel dimple died would suffice. Considering you replaced factory thin crap with metal thick enough to be on a hummer, I think it was a little over engineering. But thats awesome anyway.

i hear you but being my first one i didnt want my strut being punch up through but now that i think about it im pretty sure i ended up using 1/8 either way over kill but i was a little nervous goin with something that thin on my first strut tower build live and learn

oh ok, that makes sense.

its the first sil80 ive seen that I liked, and its because the front is slammed properly. and the ride height is aggressive.

TE's would look dope. im not familiar with the BBS wheels, but as long as the offset is low, and there's a lip, your in.

but only the ones with a sunken face, like 17 x 9 or if you can pull it off! 17 x 10.

dont spend too much money, tho. I would watch RBmotoring until you see something that catches your eye

yea i love the sunken face i think i could pull of the 17x10 in the rear and like an 8 or 8.5 something like that in the front plus that would get me about .5" lower or so depending on the tires i go with so i think thats the game plan and yea i hear you about the red its actually goin to be more of a black and gold now cause the paint has a little gold pearl in it and i think some bronze wheels would lick bad a$$ and im goin to black heat wrap the IC piping so it should look good

That is a nice looking ride, I love all of the custom fabrication work that you have done. Are you still going to keep it streetable ? Cant wait to see pics of the finished product.

Wow, you must've come along way on this project! It's amazing to see how your 240 vision takes shape... Awesome fabrication work by the way! Ditto, are you keeping your project streetable or full out drag? Either way, the cars a killer in the making, can't wait to see what's in store as well as the progressive pics!
