I dont think 600 is any savings. they charge 400 for the manifold and their sr fuel rails are 130. Now obviously the rb fuel rails are going to be more but they are problably what 200? so 200 + 400 = 600 so no savings.

Yeah, I think they basically raised the prices on their manifold since it's the "new design". Oh, and the wheels didnt work out so I might be down for a manifold again, but not for 600 bucks...I might as well ship one from australia for that or have one custom made.

I am definatly down for a gb. I am in desperate need of an aftermarket intake manifold. I just cant see getting all the plumbing for a fmic for the stock intake and then getting all new plumbing for an aftermarket one. Does anyone know if the two intake manifolds in question can bolt up with a q45 throttle body?

They both come with which throttle body? The greddy intake mani is setup for a q45 90mm throttle body. I was just asking if either of these are.

Ok, what we need to do is figure out exactly how much the aussie one will cost with shipping, how much the UH one will cost with shipping (both with and without the new fuel rail) and if possible how much a greddy one would cost with shipping. Then, we can see which one everyone favors and make a desicion on which to try to do a group buy on :) Does this sound good?

$750 is some BS. For international orders he does not have to pay GST (sales tax) but he is giving you a "discount" on the price that includes tax. Without tax we should start talking at $735 or $AUD 1227 and then a group discount on top of that.

OK MY CALCULATIONS ARE ALITTLE OFF, YOU ARE RIGHT. ITS 12% TAX. WHATEVER BASE PRICE IS THEN MINUS 15%. THATS WHAT WAS QUOTED. HE SAID AN EXACT QUOTE WASN'T POSSIBLE AT THE TIME BECAUSE CONVERSION RATES FLUCTUATE SO MUCH.

like i said it was a bolt on plenum. the original runners stayed on the head. and the upper plenum was swaped out. and it was steel. not alum.

the new one is a whole unit. kinda in the same sense as a greddy unit.

but it's your call do what you want. i'm getting one.

$750 is ridiculous, I can get a greddy intake for $726 w/out a group buy. I know that this price is w/out a fuel rail but still.........

takakaira charges 3% for credit card purchases, so the price is $749. plus you have to add maybe $50 for shipping.

I'd still rather have the Greddy. can't you use GTR injectors and fuel rail with the Greddy manifold?
