IS THAT INTAKE MANIFOLD AND COMBO FUEL RAIL ANY GOOD? I WANT A FMIC AND HAVE BEEN LOOKING AT THIS MANIFOLD FOR A WHILE BUT IS IT WORTH THE $900? IT COMES WITH AN UPGRADED FUEL RAIL FOR LARGER INJECTORS.

Not bad...if you dont mind shipping from Australia...which is where that company is ;) However, I can see how you didnt know, I looked and all the cars were right hand drive, also...at the very bottom of the page it had a reference to the A$ I'm fairly certain they are an australian company because of all the prices...significantly more than that same stuff runs in the US. :D

i KNOW THEY ARE IN AUSSIE LAND. BUT THAT SEEMS TO BE THE BEST LOOKING MANI/FUEL RAIL FOR THE RB20. PLUS ITS A 2 IN 1 PACKAGE

ahhh, I thought you didnt realize...well yeah, thats not a bad price, but here's the question: could you get a custom fuel rail made up for less than 200 dollars? if so it'd be easier to get a custom fuel rail along with the unstable intake manifold. It'd probably cost the same as buying it from australia and paying to ship it here but check it out for yourself...it is a good looking manifold!

MY FRIEND WORKS WITH BILLET ALUMINUM SO I AM GOING TO SEE IF HE CAN BUILD ME ONE AND HOW THAT WORKS OUT. HES WORKING ON A PULLEY SET ALREADY. ONE PULLEY IS LIKE HALF THE WEIGHT OF THE ORIGINAL. HE IS GOING TO DO MY FLYWHEEL ALSO. IF THESE TURN OUT ANY GOOD I'LL SEE IF HE'LL MASS PRODUCE THEM, IF YOUR INTERESTED.

IMO the unstable manifold is poorly designed. It looks like it will not flow well. However they are making another manifold based off the rb26 manifold...I'd wait for that. They took measurements off my rb25 fuel rail and are supposed to produce a top feed rail for the 25 soon.

I found two different versions used on cars they did the swap on...which design are they currently using? I'd love a link or for you to post the picture or e-mail it to me :)

Hmmm, it looks allright for my goals...which is at the most EVER no more than 350-400whp, but chances are I will leave it at just a fmic, exhaust, cold air intake, s-afc, and the boost set to 13. The car will be plenty quick with that anyways ;)

Well back to the origanal post. The Australian $ is much weaker than the American dollar at $.60 to our dollar so the $AU 1350 price tag is more like $810. Now on top of that you don't have to pay GST (australian sales tax) which as noted at the top of the page, and like so many other place in Australia is included in the price you see. I think but am not sure GST is very high close to %10 which means you are talking $720 before shipping. Now if you start a group buy ;) and orgainize it to have everything shipped to you and you ship them out to the rest of the US, I bet you could get a lot better price for the shipping and the item. I don't think it would be too tough to get a few people together to start a group buy because I know there are other people looking at getting intake manifolds, including myself.

Good deal, would the stock fuel rail be useable with that? That could drop the cost since I dont really want a new fuel rail and I dont want to have to buy all new injectors if it's a top feed rail (is it?).

THE FUEL RAIL IS INTERGRADED INTO IT AS ONE PIECE BUT I AM SURE WITH A LITTLE PUSHING YOU COULD USE THE ORIGINAL RAIL. THE AGENT SAID UPTO A 700CC INJECTOR WILL FIT. TOP-FEED BUT IT COMES WITH THE CLIPS.

Hmmmm, well I might consider it if the price is right...but it'd have to be pretty affordable for me to go with that over the 400 dollar one from Unstable so see what kinda price you can get :)

ALRIGHT, JUST WAITING FOR A RESPONSE. I DO KNOW THOUGH THAT THEY ARE GOING TO BE HOPING FOR QUITE A FEW PEOPLE TO MAKE THIS WORK. SO IF ANYONE WHO IS INTERESTED SPREAD THIS TO OTHERS SO WE CAN GET AS MANY PEOPLE AS POSSIBLE.

Turn off your caps. It hurts to read your replies.:rolleyes

I was gonna tell you guys not to worry too much about shipping...I've had things shipped from australia before and it's not bad at all. I orded from a different company though (JMS), but it was fast and prompt and I thought you all would like to know.:)

Is the U-H manifold made from a modified stock RB manifold? Either way, what make this one better than the U-H one? The quality of the U-H one looks better from the pictures.

I THINK THIS LOOKS BETTER, ITS ALUMINUM (I DON'T KNOW WHAT UH IS?) AND ITS SUPPOSEDLY A NISMO PART. PLUS IT COMES WITH A HIGH-FLOW, TOP-FEED FUEL RAIL.

I was going to try to get in contact with U-H (Unstable Hybrides) today and find out about there intake, there was talk about them redisigning it to make it flow better. I will also see what kind of price it will take for them to do high flow, top-feed fuel rails or if that is not possible. Who knows maybe they would be interested in putting together a Nico group buy price. Now about the intake from Australia, I am all about getting the best quality but look at that intake and tell me that is from Nismo. There is no way Nismo would put there name on a piece like that. I think it is custom made maybe using some nismo parts.
