sorry didn't mean to sound that offensive. It just sounded less agressive when the voices in my head told me to write that. No ignore that line about the voice in my head I am totally normal. Hey I thought I told you that I am not going to listen to you any more and am going to let you write on the forum any more. All I have to say is thank god I only have one more hour of work before the weekend.

The bad thing with the stock one is it really complicates intercooler plumbing and you have to spend $ on mounts or cut your hood :( That's why I want a front facing manifold.

Meggla I was planning on using it for rb25 and as discussed by Night that will acutally hurt the performance of the rb25 due to the rb26 having smaller intake ports than the 25 or something like that.

Wow that is a few and yes can help out here with at least 15% off depends on how many actually ordered. Can do a bulk freight if sending to same location I possible then goes out from there. Sorry for late reply I just got the latest wiz bang computer with monster flat screen and Pentiums to burn etc so was off the air for last three or four days and now have a zillion emails to get through. Keep me posted.

Thanks

one problem with the stock rb25det manifold is that it only accepts sidefeed injectors. Has anybody managed to shove in top feed injectors? Sidefeed injectors are just too damn pricey

The guy I was talking to has been out of town all weekend so I just got an email from him late sunday night that said he was gone all weekend. But there price for the manifold is 400 before any group buy. Plus they are located in Atlanta so shipping won't be as bad. However I have not heard great things about there current design but I am hoping to have more information from him by this afternoon about a group buy and how far along they are with a new design. I will get back to you when I know more.

OK I'LL KEEP CHECKING, WELL WOULD ANYONE STILL LIKE THE UAS MANI AND FUEL RAIL? THEY ARE GIVING A REALLY GOOD PRICE SEEING AS FOR A GOOD FUEL RAIL ITS GOING TO BE ABOUT $200+, AND THESE ARE TOP FEED WITH THE CLIPS.

Well...my money supply is possibly going to take a hit if I buy some new wheels...so the UH might have to be the limit, if I even do that. Lets see how much we could get a group buy on the UH manifold for as well as how the new design is doing. What exactly is wrong with the old design?

EVERYONE I TALKED TO SAID IT HAD POOR FLOW, BUT I AM NOT TOO SURE. WELL ANYWAY I AM DOWN FOR ANY OF THEM, BECAUSE I AM GOING TOP FEED NO MATTER WHAT.

Can you use the stock rail on the UH manifold? It looks like it would have poor flow to the first runner...but the rest look ok. I'm not exactly an engineer though so I dunno...I just wouldnt want cylinder one running really lean...

CYLINDER ONE WOULD RUN RICH, IF IT WAS GETTING LITTLE AIR.

Hmmm, good point....well then I dont see a problem really...I think it'd flow well enough for the usual bolt ons...does anyone have any firsthand experience with it? Also...I think it's grumpy that has the Greddy...how much is that bad boy?

I think the problem with the U-H manifold is that it is narrow at the throttle body and then gets wider towards the back. if you look at most manifolds or even other systems like ventilation ducting in buildings, they get narrower towards the end. That ensures that all the air doesn't just go to the rear cylinders and the first cylinders get equal airflow. But I think running high boost would probably solve that problem.

Yeah, that's what I thought too...but yet they must have designed it that way for a reason you know?

well from what i gather the UH manifold and fuel rail will be 600$ at 10 units. fuel rail will be set for top feed. and have -an- fittings on it aswell. i got to see the fuel rail for the sr and ka and man it is sweet. also i was told there is a core needed for the manifold.i can set it up if people are intrested.i got to peek at the cad to kinda get a idea ,and everything looks good to me.i've seen the others and they were a plenum to bolt on .this unit has short runners and is one solid unit.the first one will be done very shortly and i think i can have a pic of it posted maybe by monday. maybe.any thoughts or comments?and any takers? all money will be sent to -uh- not me.i was told to check back in a day or two to see how it is going.

RubHamuSan:

Is this for the new design of the UH manifold? what type of waiting period are we looking at? I will be in for the GB though, the sooner the better.

Well...I decided to get the new wheels and keep the stock intake manifold, I know it's a little more plumbing for the front mount but since I dont have any radical goals, it'll probably work just fine. If I come into some money by some strange stroke of luck then I might consider it later this summer :)
