man theres are other ways to keep the man from noticing your I/C. Example given.adrians_s13 wrote:there are advantages of having the ic in that location. Shorter ic piping = better response. Why do you say that? Flow is through the intercooler to the radiator. Not the other way around. It doesn't make direct contact with the radiator. I have a hard time believing that an intercooler this large will be heat soaked from the radiant heat of a radiator. I guess it could warm up if I sit in traffic for long periods of time.skott.b wrote:oh and that IC is going to get heat socked. have fun w/ that.
lol, its been 8 months. just let it dieCured13 wrote:Hey guys what size of the intercooler fit under rad support the best and does anybody have similar setup and keep the A/C?
Let's keep this thread going people
This is an old thread but I can tell you OP probably did not go this route because:dontuhatepants wrote: I'm doing a silvia conversion and had everything apart and decided to see if I could put the intercooler a little more stealth so I didn't have to f up my bumper.
agree...nice thought tho it would be cool but arnt you scared for your car to over heat and s***??.youre blocking your radiator so pretty much its useless now...if i was you i would of tried a top mount intercooler just hot they come on the Bluebird SR20DETImportBastard wrote:to cheap to buy piping? and your gonna defeat the purpose of the intercooler by placing it next to the RAD...
